With all the dangers around, I knew I shouldn't be in the woods. The daily killings were rising and more wolves were leaving the pack but I was the daughter of a trained warrior, the only female warrior and proudly so, that meant I could take care of myself without any problems.

Alpha Dan would kill me if he knew I was here but how could I survive the horrors of school, deal with the pack endangered and not find time for myself? The wood was my peace and my wolf, Nala's.

"Don't even think about it." Nala warned me, her ears upright as I headed towards the grunting sounds.

"You know I'm going to." I shunned her, taking silent steps towards where it was coming from. "For all I know, it could be one of our own in trouble."

"Yeah, like any other wolf is foolish enough to be lurking in the woods in these times when we are all in trouble. Talie, it's a trap just go back." She protested.

I kept creeping towards the sound, occasionally slapping strands of my jet black hair out of my face, and honestly when I saw where it was coming from, it would have been much more better if it was one of our own in trouble. There he was, the wind swaying his hazel colored shoulder length wavy hair in the wind, his pants down to his ankle and his hand riding up and down his cock.

I widened my eyes, unable to look away from this man. His head was craned backwards and his pace quickened, he must have been reaching his climax. It was mesmerising to watch, I couldn't ignore the fast pulse growing between my thighs.

To satisfy it, I dared to slip my hands into my pants and I was only two strokes of my clit in, when he dropped his head as if he had sensed my presence, his eyes meeting mine. A scar ran along his left ear to his cheek and his eyes were a very bright blue colour.

I stiffened and couldn't get my legs to work until he made moves to stand from the log of wood that had served as his seat.

I turned on my heels, running down the woods, not looking back for once to see if he was coming for me or not.

"You could have killed us!" Nala snapped as I walked into Stem. It was a club for werewolves only and it was where my best friends and I hung out every day. It was a comfort zone with arched roof, wooden walls and illuminated by a disco ball.

"But I didn't. He was harmless okay?" I rolled my eyes at her, "just a man getting off in the woods."

"It could have been anyone!"

"But we are fine." I was still trying to catch my breath as I leaned against the counter where Shayla worked part time to serve drinks.

"Where have you been all day? Your mom's been blowing my phone up." Shayla scolded me, wiping a wine glass with a napkin. She had an apron on over her brown form fitting gown, leaving her blonde hair in a messy bun. Shayla and I had been best friends since middle school and were basically inseparable at this point with our similar heights and build, people sometimes mistook us for twins.

"Probably stalking Cole again." Ash walked up behind her and kissed her cheeks. He was the only male in our friend group and Shayla's long term boyfriend. He was so much more taller than us with a slim muscular build, long brown hair and wire sweatpants for half his life.

"I'm over him." I rolled my eyes, frowning as his green eyes mocked me, "he found his mate and it's not me, not like he ever knew I existed anyways." I didn't want to think about Cole.

"Yeah so over him you cried yourself to sleep last night because he didn't respond to your hello after pack run." Nala mocked me.

"Shut the fuck up," I snapped at her.

I took my phone from where I'd left it charging and took a deep breath in before returning one of my mom's fifty thousand missed calls, "hey mom."

"Talie! Where on earth have you been? Have you lost your mind, it's too late for you to be wandering off by yourself."

"Mom, calm down, I'm fine, I just went on a quick stroll nothing much." I slung my hair over one shoulder.

"It's too dangerous to be going on strolls by yourself, if you wander off like this again, I'll just have to tell Alpha Dan about it." She warned me before hanging up in anger.

"Ugh, my mom needs a chill pill," I groaned.

"No but really where were you though?" Shayla knitted her eyebrows when she glared at me.

"Just some fresh air," I paused and mumbled quickly, "in the woods."

"Oh my goddess, Talie! You know we are not supposed to be in the woods, If Alpha Dan finds out, he..."

"Nobody is going to tell Alpha Dan anything," I shrugged my shoulder and saw that she'd widened her eyes, staring at something behind me.

"Tell me what?" His voice came from behind me, causing me to stand upright with a flinch. I turned to look at our six foot four alpha with his wavy brown hair that was always in a bun, and grinned sheepishly, "hi alpha."

"What are you up to, Talie?" He frowned. I was already in trouble for organising a party for a pup when everyone was advised to stay in doors and the last thing I wanted was to be punished by him.

"It's nothing I promise Alpha..." I was saying when there was a sudden break out of screams around us, everyone scampering around for safety while the rest of us wondered what was going on.

"What's happening Alpha?" I gripped on to his arm reflexively. There was no time to think as a pair of strong arms yanked me away from him. It was hard to make out what was going on, all I knew was someone had lifted me off the ground and was taking me at full speed into the woods.

I was screaming on top of my lungs to even hear what was going on around me anymore until Alpha Dan's called through the link, 'I am coming for you Talie.'

He'd better hurry because this beast was not stopping anytime soon.

"Help me!" I cried out as we continued further into the woods.
