We got into Alpha's car and he zoomed off into the distance. Putting my seatbelt on, I turned to look at him, "where are we going Alpha?"

"We are headed there, aren't we?"

I nodded and said nothing for a while until I decided to ask what was on my kind, "what about Alice? You didn't seem to have returned with her."

"Yes, she will be back tomorrow, I gave a warrior the task of finding her a home around."

"Oh," I sighed, "so she's going to be staying for a long while is basically what you're saying."

His eyes were fixed on the road as we continued our journey.

"Why isn't she just staying in the packhouse?"

"It's not for living, it's accessible to all packhouse members and unless there's an emergency reason, it's only home to the alpha, beta and their family."
