"Mom, dad! You're alive." I screeched, hugging my parents tight when I found them helping injured wolves, cleaning their wounds and tying them up in bandages.

"My Goddess, I tried so hard to mind link you, it just wouldn't come through, I'm so glad you're doing okay, this has to be the best day of my entire life." My mom broke into tears as my dad stood still, a weak grin on his face. "We were looking through the bodies to see if we'd find you and-" she choked through her tears.

"Mom I'm here and I'm fine, not a scratch on me." I sighed and let go of her to hug my dad, "I'm so glad you're okay."

"Sort of," my dad rubbed a spot on his head where a patch of hair was missing, "it was way too rough on us." My parents were responsible for my short height, both five four and on the plus size. They were both in their middle fifties and had issues with fertility until having me. They were mates and so in love.

"I'll help with the injuries." I sighed, looking at all the tents set up
