Chapter forty Eight

Brian got inside the hospital ward room where Lina was staying. He looked at the needles and the machine attached to her body and frowned, his thoughts drifting too far from memory. He wished to forget.

Brian withdrew his hands from Lina's hands as he felt his phone buzz in his pocket pants. He dipped his hands into his pocket pants and brought out his phone, Brian frowned looking at the screen of the phone. Rather than picking it up, he cut the call off. He dropped his phone beside the freezer and looked at Lina. His bottomless expressionless brown beautiful orb eyes held deep emotions on them.
