MasukAmelia's pov
The second the bell rang I packed my bag and throw the strap over my shoulder. I was out of that class in less than a minute.
"Amelia,"
There goes his smooth husky voice behind me.
I stiffen, looking around for Foster as I try to ignore the brooding guy behind me. He didn't look like someone I'd catch their attention. So it was weird that he was trying to talk to me.
Especially after I saw what he had done to that guy earlier.
Where the hell was Foster?
He said he'd meet me out here to show me to my next class.
"For being so short, you sure do walk fast." Raiden chuckled beside me.
I gulped. He caught up.
I gave him a slight glare from the corner of my eye, as I scooted away from him. " Can you like, leave me alone?"
He raised a thick brow. "Why for?"
I'm about to answer him when Foster calls me over. "Hey Amelia, over here!" He lifted his hand up, gesturing for me to come over.
I looked at Raiden whose brows knot in a frown and then grumble under my breath. "Just stay away from me."
With that, I literally skipped to Foster who looked between Raiden and I. As soon as I was beside him, he interlocks our arms and guides me to my next class.
He didn't say a word yet.
Which was strange.
I'd thought he'd ask me questions about Raiden.
I side eyed him curiously. He was so quiet.
Until he peeked behind us, let out a sigh and then broke the silence. "Amelia, what was Raiden talking to you about?"
Why did he have a pitch of fear in his tone?
Was Raiden that much of a bully?
"He tried to introduce himself. Told him to stay away from me." I answered after a ticking second.
Foster nod. "I think you did good. Those guys and their friends are people to stay away from."
My brows furrowed. I saw Raiden punching a guy earlier, but I wondered why Foster seem so tense when talking about him.
Does he bully Foster too?
Curiosity won, and I found myself asking Foster. "Does he hit you too?"
Foster glanced at me quickly from the corner of his eye and replied. "No. He doesn't hit people like us. But it would still be best to stay away from him and his friends."
I gnawed on my lips. There are those words again. People like us. What did he mean by that?
I'm about to question him further until he cuts me off. "We're here. Have fun in your history class, I'll meet you outside to bring you to your next." He smiled at me and bid me goodbye before I could ask him anything.
I sighed and stepped into the class. I was one of the very few who were already here. And......that guy Raiden was feeding his fists to.
He sat at the back, slouched back in a cocky way as two pretty girls sat on his desk. His arms are wrapped around both.
They giggled at something he said and his smirk widened.
But that's not what keeps my eyes glued to his. It's the fact that his face, especially his jaw, didn't look like it suffered any fist to it. He looked unscathed.
I quickly tear my eyes away when his eyes snapped up to mine. I flushed.
He caught me looking.
I quickly made my way over to an empty desk and chair. Away from the guy.
I could feel his stare on me when I plop down on the chair. I didn't like his stare and shivered.
"Hey new girl."
I stiffened.
It was obvious he was trying to get my attention.
I squirmed and slowly turn my head to look at him. He beamed, teeth flashing.
I flinched.
I could've sworn I saw pointy fangs. But they were gone so quickly that I was convinced I had imagined them.
"Name?"
Did I want to give this guy my name?
For all I know he could also be one of Raiden's friends and they were just playing rough. Guys were like that in my old school.
I let out a faint exhale.
It's not like he'd not know my name eventually.
"Amelia."
His grin broadened. "Pretty name for a pretty human girl." He stressed on the word human which made me grow confused.
I turned back around, getting creeped out with the way he was basically eye rapping me.
Shaking my head, I pulled out my stuff and got ready for class.
A few minutes later and the class was piling up. There was only one empty chair left. That chair so happened to be beside me.
The teacher strolled in. A man in his mid-thirties perhaps. He looked young.
He set his bag on the desk, scanning around the entire class. His eyes fall on me and they shone in interest.
"You're new here, right?"
I nod, biting my lip and squirming when all heads turn to me.
"Welcome to Creek High. Where weird shit happens." He grinned.
The entire class burst into laughter. I cracked a smile too. It was kind of refreshing to have an easy-going teacher here. The last one seemed a bit stiff and cold.
"I'm Mr. Scott, your history teacher. And no, I'm not going to talk about Romeo and Juliet. Leave that for the drama class. I don't have enough tissues for everyone here."
Everyone laughed again, until suddenly the classroom went silent.
The door opens, hard boots hitting the tiles. I looked up from the boots, freezing when my eyes met green.
God. Him again!? Is he in every single class I have?
"Raiden," Mr. Scott sighed with a shake of his head. "May I know why you are a tad bit late?"
Raiden grinned, his white teeth flashing. The sight of it, weirdly made my stomach flip.
"Got lost." He shrugged.
Mr Scott rolled his eyes and shooed him away. "Just take a damn seat you overgrown teenager. "
Raiden smirked and started walking......over here.
I bent my head, praying he'd not acknowledge me. However I knew that the only seat left was the one just beside me.
It was unlikely for us to not interact.
I was just thinking of ways I could avoid talking to him, or looking his way when his smooth masculine voice grumble above me.
"You're in my seat."
Amelia's povSunlight curls lazily through wide windows, warming the floors and casting its rays on the low coffee table before me.I am on the floor seated with my back against the couch, legs folded beneath me and with a stack of books spread out in front of me, on the table and on the floor. Parchment, notebooks, charcoal pencils, pens.....history books on one side, language on the other. Ink stains my fingers. The lesson is half finished, though I've paused more times than I care to admit. I was easily distracted by the small little human with the cutest giggle a few feet away.Finishing school at home was my choice. I wanted to spend every single second with her. Especially for those special first months. I wanted to be present for every laugh, every frustrated huff when the building blocks wouldn't stay upright.Across the room, my daughter, Aida, sits on a thick blanket Raiden's mother made for her before she was even born. I giggle softly as I recall how she struggled to do it
Amelia's povHer blood is warm as I slash through her skin, over and over as she bleeds. Blood splatters on my face and crimson chokes out of her mouth as she watches me with shock in her eyes.I don't think she expected me to kill her. I don't think anyone did. Not even me.Alwina's eyes, the very same eyes that are mine in every way are wide and glassy with pain. She stares at me. Really stares at me as tears through her."Amelia," she chokes out, blood bubbling at her lips. But I don't pay attention to her words as I continue to tear through her.Her body jerks as the last strength drains from her. Her fingers twitch once, twice then fall limp. The light leaves her eyes. But I don't stop. I tear through her until her blood soaks the earth, until I was sure that she was nothing.Until I felt hands pull me off, calling my name. "Amelia," Raiden whispered, his hold gentle but firm as he pulls me off her, my back pressed to his front as I breathe harshly.-"Amelia," Raiden whispered a
Alwina's povThe forest seem to have gone completely still the second her words let out of her mouth. My mother body lies between us, her blood soaking into the dirt. My vision blurs red with hot anger and I shift back, bones cracking, fur retreating until I am standing in my own two feet again and facing her."You think you've won now?" I hissed and whirl around to stare at Raiden who has yet to remove his eyes off her.I sneer. " She's not fit to lead a pack. She's not fit to carry your pup. It should be me!"Raiden takes his eyes off her then, his wolf baring its teeth as he snarls and takes a step forward as if ready to pounce on me. But Amelia stops him."Don't," she tells him. "This is between me and her."I whirl back to Amelia, hatred burning through me hot. "You won't win against me you dirty useless bitch!" I shrieked. She tilted her head mockingly. "I already have."Thunder rolls loud in the sky as her words strike through me. With a loud growl I shift into my beast and lun
Alwina's povAs I feel the crack of mom's spell push out of me, I looked up at the sky from the mere shocking force of it. The spell breaking meant only one thing. Something was wrong.Everything had gone wrong.Everything should've been mine. It should've been easy. She did not deserve it. I deserved it.Years I've plotted to take her place. Killed our aunt, I can remember that day clearly. I remember how she looked at me in complete horror, calling out her name in pain. That was the most satisfying part. Her thinking the eyes of her killer belonged to Amelia. She thought who killed her was my darling twin sister. The one who got the life I deserved.I remember watching her eyes dull as her life slips away. I remember waiting in the house when Amelia found her. I remember staying somewhere she wouldn't see me. I remember hearing her cries for help, hearing the pain in her tears as she tried to revive the woman she thought was her mother. That day, was the best day of my life.I could
Raiden's povThat roar rips through the clearing like an arrow slicing through air. Raw. Furious and powerful. My blood turns to fire as I snap my eyes back down to the girl who's stiff and eyes clouded. Her once trembling act cracking right in front of me.Then she looks directly at me, her eyes now swimming with fury and frustration. "You two are really irritating," she grits under her breath and stands up, wiping the mud and tears from her face with the back of her hand. The fear that curled around her before long gone. She look different from how they brought her. " What is it going to take to break that bond between you and her!?" She snaps and takes a step back between Haden and Timothy, then smirks."Kill them all," she motions her hand to us and then shifts into a half beast before sprinting back where they came from. The second she disappears, Haden and the others pounce towards us and chaos erupts._Amelia's povWhatever they had done to me burns. It crawls under my skin, s
Raiden's povThat voice. It sounds like her but there's no true pull to her. My wolf, he feels restless and not in the way he'd feel for his mate.Mud clings to her skin, hair so wet and tangled, eyes staring at me with fear. I should be moved. I should want to go to her. But something in my gut twisted." We have your mate," Haden grin sharpens. " And we are gentlemen enough to give her back to you. We don't want a war alpha," his teeth grits. I can tell he didn't mean a word he just said.'Something is off,' I mind linked dad as I watch Amelia. She can barely stand on her two feet. If these two bastards were not holding her, I have no doubt she'd fall to her knees.'Yes,' dad responds quickly. 'Stay alert. Don't crack.''It doesn't feel like Amelia,' I admitted to him as I take a step back when my eyes caught hers again. Something is wrong. Unsettling wrong.Seeing me step back, Haden raises an eyebrow and something shifts in Amelia's gaze then. It was far too quick for me to catch
