"And you are the reason I have a target on my back." Hayley said before turning away.

Kane grabbed at her. "Listen, it doesn't matter what they do or say-"

"Yeah, you can say whatever because you are not the one being picked on." Hayley cut him off.

"I can make them stop, do whatever to make you happy."

Hayley scoffed, "it's a little too late for that, don't you think?"

"Can I get back to work? You have already put more attention on me than is needed."

Hayley moved to an area where it was just her so she could pick the apples in peace, but with Alpha Kane, that wouldn't be so, because he came to where she was with three crates.

"Help me fill these up."

"No, get somebody else to do it."

"I'm sure that if I do, you wouldn't like that."
