"Gather the troops. We leave soon. I want every one of them captured." Kane commanded.
Hayley looked up at Kane. "I want to come with."
Conrad scoffed, "and do what? You'll only get in our way."
Hayley sighed. As much as she wanted to argue, she didn't, instead she went to her room to get ready.
While doing so, she could sense Kane and a few others of the court guards leaving.
"That cheat!'' Hayley growled.
Hayley lay on her bed sulking because one she wanted to go, and two, she didn't want them to harm the rogues.
Hayley tapped her stomach, wondering if she should still go or spy on them.
She decided on the latter, but didn't know how she was going to do so.
"Use the owl." Her wolf said.
Hayley looked out the window to see a snow white owl peering through at her.
"Right." She got up to open the window, to which the owl flew in and perched on the windowsill. One of its feather dropped.
