Chapter 64: The Attack

Everyone had forgotten about the war that was on their heads at the moment and just focused on the happiness and the celebrations going on around them.

They had promised themselves to have the best time while it lasted.

The guards were on high alert as they knew that the attack could happen at any time and their main objective was to delay it as much as possible, ideally until the mating ceremony is done.

Kelly whilst waiting for the doors to the garden to open, gently touched her inner thigh, feeling the blade of the dagger.

As she was getting ready, she strapped her trusted dagger onto her thigh, in the fear that she won't get time to change into her armor if anything goes wrong.

Brandon, Felix's spy was looking at the whole ceremony scene being unfolded before the time they have gotten the information and knew that he had to inform King Felix immediately so that he and his army could arrive in time to break apart the ceremony.
