Raven's pov.

My eyes stayed on Draven. For a long moment I could not look away. He sat like a king who had not yet been told he was finished.

Cocky but in an elegant way.

“Raven,” one of the elders muttered, the name coming out like it was his worst nightmare. And it should be — nothing is going to stop me from dragging all of them to hell.

One of them spat into the dirt and said, loud enough for everyone to hear, “You keep us here against our will, Draven. You chain us with fear.”

I felt the rage like a fire under my skin. The elders are just as pathetic as before. Look how quickly they switch sides. Even a chameleon doesn't change color that fast.

“Leave,” I said. My voice was steady but filled with venom. “Leave now, all of you.” I lifted my chin. “Or stay and fight with me.”

They looked at each other and then they ran outside without giving it a second thought.

I wasn't letting the elders off that easily— hell no. They are bunch of losers who had nowhere to go. They will com

  • She's the Alpha    She's the Alpha.

Raven’s POV. Kai left before sunrise. I stood by the window and watched him walk away until I could not see him anymore. He didn’t even look back. Or scared His father specially said “before sunrise” and Kai left when it was sunrise, even though I kept telling him to leave before sunrise, so he could at least stop the army who were on their way to destroy us. The morning was quiet. I fed my son, bathed him, and wrapped him in a soft blanket. He smiled in his sleep, and it made me forget the war for a few seconds. I stayed beside him most of the day, while the men Kai put in charge worked outside. They were fixing the palace, cleaning the mess, and rebuilding what was broken. I could hear the hammering, shouting, and running footsteps all day.By afternoon, I was tired. My body wanted to rest, but my mind kept thinking about the hearing that would happen in the evening. I was scared and happy at the same time. Well, who cared? I was going to make all of them pay. When the sun beg

  • She's the Alpha    The return.

Kai's pov. “The ship's back!!!” Someone announced. I looked up, dropping the body I was holding. The war had left a mess in the palace. Bodies from both parties scattered around the premises and half of the palace was burnt down. But I wasn't bothered. One thing I loved about the wolves is that they knew how to rebuild quickly just as they knew how to destroy quickly. And that also implies child birth. “Raven?” Theodora muttered as she ran past me towards the river bank. I have never seen her move that fast in my entire life. I slowly walked towards the bank, my eyes narrowing as I tried to look into the thick fog. It was the ship, alright but we didn't know if the people on it were for us or against us. So it was better we stayed put. “Raven,” she cried out as the ship became more visible, revealing Raven who was on the side of the ship. One hand on the rope the other holding— oh, my goodness. “Nightshade pack forever,” she roared in victory, holding Draven's head up in the air

  • She's the Alpha    The serpent's departure

Author's pov. Raven ran after Draven until her lungs burned out. The docks were a mess of ropes, splintered wood, and men hauling gear. A ship sat at the river bank. Men were climbing aboard with crates containing food skd resources. Raven's fists clenched the moment her eyes landed on Draven who had boarded the ship. “Draven!” she yelled, her voice loud and raw. Draven stood near the gangplank, calm as always. His cloak hung heavy on his shoulders and his face was a mask of patience. He watched the sailors with a quiet smile, as if the world were doing exactly what he wanted. He turned when he heard her, a faint smile appearing on his lips. Then he turned to the Captain with a nod. “Take her,” he ordered. “You heard the Alpha,” the Captain barked. “Anyone who brings her head will be rewarded greatly.”That statement was more than enough for the sentinels on board to start falling like garbage thrown from the ship. They charged at Raven who was running towards the ship. Draven

  • She's the Alpha    Blood.

Kai’s POVI wiped the blood from my chin and faced Damien again. His chest rose and fell hard, that red glow still flickering in his eyes. He came at me, but this time I was ready. I caught his fist mid-swing and twisted it hard enough to make him grunt.“Getting slower,” I said with a smirk. He growled and tried to kick me, but I blocked it and slammed my knee into his stomach and pushed him back, his boots scraping against the cracked floor.“You said you evolved,” I mocked, stepping closer. “But all I see is a desperate fool hiding behind borrowed power.”“Shut up!” he snarled, charging again.I caught him by the throat and lifted him, slamming him against the wall. The stone cracked under the impact. His claws clawed at my arm, but I tightened my grip, watching the panic start to show in his eyes.“Even with your magic,” I said coldly, “you’re still useless against me.”He tried to speak, but I pressed harder, choking the words out of him. “You wanted to be stronger than me? Then

  • She's the Alpha    The Alpha fall.

RAVEN’S POV The men surrounded me, their eyes dark with black magic. The temple walls shook from the growls echoing through the air. My breath came in short gasps. I swung my dagger, but they were too fast and too strong. One of them caught my arm and slammed me to the ground. Pain shot through my ribs. I coughed, spitting blood. Most of the bones in my body were either broken or too weak but I kept fighting. I couldn't give up. I dared not. I tried to push myself up, but another kick hit my side. I screamed, rolling over. They were ten times stronger than me—no, a thousand times stronger because of the black magic. I could barely move. My arms were shaking so much that even lifting the dagger felt like lifting a mountain. “Get up!” I told myself, but I couldn't. Instead my eyes turned to Draven with a cold glare. He has really gone too far now. He killed my Father, probably killed Fein, made my life miserable till now and worst of all— he used black magic. I saw my mot
