Chapter 48

Ares looked at Thea with obsessed eyes. She had fallen unconscious after he marked her and he had gently made her lay down on the soft mattress. They were still in the tent and he was laying besides her, looking at her from past few hours.

Thea was sleeping peacefully, her lips were slightly parted as she breathed and some hair stands were falling on her face. She looked in a deep sleep. He removed the hair strands from her face and gently caressed her soft skin. He liked the way her skin feels in his hand, so soft and silky.

It has been few hours she went unconscious and he knew her body needed it. After being marked by him, her body couldn't handle the pressure and collapsed. He knew it was nothing harmful. It was just a defense mechanism from her body. She needs rest and he knows she will be unconscious for few more hours now.

His eyes fell on the mark which she was carrying. His mark stood proudly against her skin, two punctured holes were there in her neck along with a tattoo
