13 years later.
"Thea are you ready?" Her grandma asked. She went into her room to see her packing her things.
"Thea you still haven't finished your packing. You will be late for the trip." Grandma scolded her in a soft voice.
She looked over at her granddaughter's fragile face who looking at her apologetic.
Thea smiled sheepishly at Grandma. "I forgot to pack my things yesterday and couldn't sleep whole night because I was excited for the trip and thus I woke up late." She said.
She was going for a trip. The trip was arranged by her school. Her grandma was reluctant to give her the permission but she convinced her somehow.
Grandma shoke her head at her. "When will you become responsible Thea?" She asked and started to help her with the packing.
Thea kissed her grandma's cheeks and said, "I have you with me grandma. I don't need to worry about anything." Thea smiled at her.
Grandma looked at Thea who was busy packing the things. How can she make her understand that she won't live with her for her whole life. She will die one day and than she will have to live her life without her.
She fears for the future of her granddaughter. Thea is a innocent girl who can't see bad in others. She trusts everyone easily. Her heart is soft who can't see others in pain. Her navie behavior makes her a easy target for others.
She wonders what will happen to her once she is gone.
The only person Thea has in her life is her. Her parents met with a accident and died on spot when she was three years old. She took the responsibility of Thea after her son and daughter in law died. She grew up Thea with love and care.
"Done." Thea said happily. Her packing was finished.
Grandma looked at the clock. It was nine in morning.
"You packed everything right?" Her grandma wanted to confirm.
"Don't worry grandma, I packed every necessity." Thea said.
"Thea come fast!" Ava who is Thea's friend shouted from outside.
"Coming" Thea yelled back and took her backpack. She kissed her grandma on her cheeks. "Don't forget to take your medicines grandma and take care of yourself. I will return back soon." Thea said and went away running.
"Stay with Ava only on the trip. Don't roam anywhere alone." Grandma said but Thea was gone till then.
"What will I do with this girl." Grandma said and prayed for her safety.

"I am so excited Ava." Thea said as she settled on the bus seat.
It is the first time she is going on a trip with her friends.
"Me too. I can't wait to reach the place and have fun." Ava said grinning widely.
They were going for camping.
Some boys snickered listening to their talk.
"Little girls over there are excited to have fun guys." Mason said with a smirk on his face. His friends chuckled loudly hearing him.
"Ignore than Thea." Ava said to her. Thea nodded her head. It's not like she was going to say anything.
"Ouch, the girls are ignoring us guys." Ethan said and laughed loudly. His friends joined him.
Thea looked at the teacher for help but found her busy in her phone.
The chatter in the bus was going on for some time until it was all silent.
Thea looked outside of the window. A big smile formed on her face as the cool breeze touched her face.
She could see the deep forests from the window. It looked dense. Thick fog was surrounding the whole area of the forest.
A gasp left her lips when she was something black in the forest.
Was it a castle?
She looked at the direction again but found nothing. All she could see was the thick fog and the deep forests.
Thea immediately turned towards Ava to tell her about it but saw her sleeping.
Thea sighed. Maybe she was imaging things.
It took some hours for them to reach the place.
"Woah! This is so cool." Ava said looking around.
Thea looked at the beautiful mountains in front of her. A small river was there in front of them. Birds were chirping in the sky, like a pleasant tune of music.
A smile played on her lips as she looked at the nature in front of her. A giggle left her lips as the wind played with her hairs.
"Everyone come over here!" Their teacher, Miss Emma shouted.
The students groaned and went near her.
"We all will be camping at this place. I need you all to stay in discipline and help me with arrangements. No one will wander anywhere without my permission. Is that clear?" She asked strictly.
Some students mumbled a small 'Yes Mam' while others ignored her and continued their talks.
Three hours later their tent were formed. Camping chairs were placed with a small table in middle. Firewoods were collected.
Thea looked at everything in awe. It was her first time she was ever camping and all this was exciting her.
She did went to small picnics with her grandma but that's all where she went to.
"Thea come, we will play truth and dare." Ava said and started dragging her towards everyone.
The sky changed from light blue to orange and red as the sun set down. The sunset was reflecting in the river making the whole water look orange and red.
Thea noticed everyone were sitting on the mat. She took a sit besides Ava.
Since childhood, she wasn't good in making friends. The only friend she has is Ava. She tried to make new friends but always failed badly.
"Alright let's start the game then." Mason said and spinned the bottle. Everyone cheered loudly.
Thea smiled. May be she can try to make some good friends during this trip.
But what she didn't knew was that instead of making some good friends, she will wake the sleeping lycans up.
She didn't knew that she will become the cause of awakening of the King of lycans.

Thea's friends had left in the evening. It was night time and grandma was already asleep. Thea was in Ares's arm. They both were in her bed in each other's embrace. It has been around one hour since he came. "Ares, are you feeling any changes in me?" She asked. "Yes" He replied. "You are becoming more beautiful day by day. M" He brushed his lips against her seductively. She blushed hearing me. "I am serious Ares." She said. "And you think I am joking?" He asked her. "What I mean to ask is are you feeling any changes in me in terms of aura.. Like you feel a power oozing out of me?" She asked him. "Why are you saying all these?" He asked her. "Grandma and my friends felt this changes in me. They said there's something powerful aura coming out of me. That's the reason why I am asking you about it." Thea said. "Tell me please. Do you feel it too?" She asked him. "They are right love. You are indeed oozing power out of you. You are carrying my mark, little one. It's the mark of t
"Granda, I don't want to go to school today." Thea said and grandma looked at her in question. "Why? You never miss your school." Grandma asked her with concern. "I am not feeling good today." Thea replied. "My body is paining." She added and it's truth. Her neck is indeed paining and it's a part of her body. So, she didn't lied to her grandma. "Oh my poor child. You should rest. I will call the doctor." Her grandma said getting worried. She knows that Thea doesn't skips school and if she is doing it than her body must be paining really bad. Thea's eyes widen hearing her. "There's no need to call her a doctor. I will be fine if I rest for some days. It's because of my periods I think that I am getting such body pains." She said hurriedly. She doesn't wants a doctor to come and check her. Because than the doctor will see her mark on neck and she doesn't wants it. No one knows that she is mated to Ares and that he has marked her. She wish to keep things this way only. If a doctor c
Ares looked at Thea with obsessed eyes. She had fallen unconscious after he marked her and he had gently made her lay down on the soft mattress. They were still in the tent and he was laying besides her, looking at her from past few hours. Thea was sleeping peacefully, her lips were slightly parted as she breathed and some hair stands were falling on her face. She looked in a deep sleep. He removed the hair strands from her face and gently caressed her soft skin. He liked the way her skin feels in his hand, so soft and silky. It has been few hours she went unconscious and he knew her body needed it. After being marked by him, her body couldn't handle the pressure and collapsed. He knew it was nothing harmful. It was just a defense mechanism from her body. She needs rest and he knows she will be unconscious for few more hours now. His eyes fell on the mark which she was carrying. His mark stood proudly against her skin, two punctured holes were there in her neck along with a tattoo
A gasp left her lips when she saw the view in front of her and only one word left her lips. "Beautiful"They were on a beach, the water floating towards them in waves and the bright blue small lights in it made the entire water illuminated. On the center of the beach, their was a small tent with was decorated with lightings and flowers. A small table was placed in front of it with two single seated chair. It looked beautiful. Extremely beautiful. The night and the reflection of the moon only enhanced it's beauty, adding more to it's charms. The sound of soft winds along with the waves of water could be heard, sounding like a pleasant and soothing music to the ears. A arm wrapped around her waist and she felt herself being pulled into Ares's embrace. Her back touched his chest and he put his face on her shoulder. "You like it?" He husked in her ears, biting her earlobe. "I.. I loved it." Thea mumbled looking at the breathtaking view in front of her. Ares felt satisfied hearing h
Thea was having dinner with her grandma. It was around eight in night and they have a habit of having their dinner early. "Thea when will your Christmas vacations start?" Her grandma inquired. "They will start in about half a month." Thea replied and grandma nodded. "Why are you asking about it Grandma?" Thea asked. "I am thinking about visiting our distant relative during your christmas vacations. We will be able to celebrate Christmas with them and you won't miss your attendance since there will be holidays in your school on the eve of Christmas." Grandma explained and Thea nodded. "Have we ever visted them before grandma?" Thea asked. "We have but you were a child back than. I am sure you won't remember it." Grandma said. "They are our relatives from your mother's side." She told. "Really?" Thea asked getting curious. "Yes" Grandma said. "Your mother was the second cousin of the relative whom we are going to visit. They both were quite close and your aunt always adored you.
Thea watched as all her friends sat down on the couch tiredly after dancing their ass off. "I need a cold drink." Aaron muttered and took the drink from the table which was in front of him. "Damn! I am feeling tired now." Jason said and wiped the sweat of his face. "Who knew dancing will be such a tiring task." Kai chuckled. "We have been dancing for about two hours guys. That's why we are tired." Damein said. "But it was fun." He grinned. "I agree." Ava said as she relaxed on the couch. "You missed the fun Thea. You should have joined us." Aaron said. "I had fun seeing you all dance." Thea replied with a smile. She likes watching other dance than to dance herself. "Wait a minute. Where is Mia?" Damein asked. "You are very much concerned about her. Do you want to sleep with her or what?" Ethan asked with a smirk. "What the hell Ethan. I asked about her genuinely. I have no interest in sleeping with her." Damein snorted unattractively. "Mia left for her house." Mason told th
