Chapter 2

13 years later.

"Thea are you ready?" Her grandma asked. She went into her room to see her packing her things.

"Thea you still haven't finished your packing. You will be late for the trip." Grandma scolded her in a soft voice.

She looked over at her granddaughter's fragile face who looking at her apologetic.

Thea smiled sheepishly at Grandma. "I forgot to pack my things yesterday and couldn't sleep whole night because I was excited for the trip and thus I woke up late." She said.

She was going for a trip. The trip was arranged by her school. Her grandma was reluctant to give her the permission but she convinced her somehow.

Grandma shoke her head at her. "When will you become responsible Thea?" She asked and started to help her with the packing.

Thea kissed her grandma's cheeks and said, "I have you with me grandma. I don't need to worry about anything." Thea smiled at her.

Grandma looked at Thea who was busy packing the things. How can she make her understand that she won't live with her for her whole life. She will die one day and than she will have to live her life without her.

She fears for the future of her granddaughter. Thea is a innocent girl who can't see bad in others. She trusts everyone easily. Her heart is soft who can't see others in pain. Her navie behavior makes her a easy target for others.

She wonders what will happen to her once she is gone.

The only person Thea has in her life is her. Her parents met with a accident and died on spot when she was three years old. She took the responsibility of Thea after her son and daughter in law died. She grew up Thea with love and care.

"Done." Thea said happily. Her packing was finished.

Grandma looked at the clock. It was nine in morning.

"You packed everything right?" Her grandma wanted to confirm.

"Don't worry grandma, I packed every necessity." Thea said.

"Thea come fast!" Ava who is Thea's friend shouted from outside.

"Coming" Thea yelled back and took her backpack. She kissed her grandma on her cheeks. "Don't forget to take your medicines grandma and take care of yourself. I will return back soon." Thea said and went away running.

"Stay with Ava only on the trip. Don't roam anywhere alone." Grandma said but Thea was gone till then.

"What will I do with this girl." Grandma said and prayed for her safety.

"I am so excited Ava." Thea said as she settled on the bus seat.

It is the first time she is going on a trip with her friends.

"Me too. I can't wait to reach the place and have fun." Ava said grinning widely.

They were going for camping.

Some boys snickered listening to their talk.

"Little girls over there are excited to have fun guys." Mason said with a smirk on his face. His friends chuckled loudly hearing him.

"Ignore than Thea." Ava said to her. Thea nodded her head. It's not like she was going to say anything.

"Ouch, the girls are ignoring us guys." Ethan said and laughed loudly. His friends joined him.

Thea looked at the teacher for help but found her busy in her phone.

The chatter in the bus was going on for some time until it was all silent.

Thea looked outside of the window. A big smile formed on her face as the cool breeze touched her face.

She could see the deep forests from the window. It looked dense. Thick fog was surrounding the whole area of the forest.

A gasp left her lips when she was something black in the forest.

Was it a castle?

She looked at the direction again but found nothing. All she could see was the thick fog and the deep forests.

Thea immediately turned towards Ava to tell her about it but saw her sleeping.

Thea sighed. Maybe she was imaging things.

It took some hours for them to reach the place.

"Woah! This is so cool." Ava said looking around.

Thea looked at the beautiful mountains in front of her. A small river was there in front of them. Birds were chirping in the sky, like a pleasant tune of music.

A smile played on her lips as she looked at the nature in front of her. A giggle left her lips as the wind played with her hairs.

"Everyone come over here!" Their teacher, Miss Emma shouted.

The students groaned and went near her.

"We all will be camping at this place. I need you all to stay in discipline and help me with arrangements. No one will wander anywhere without my permission. Is that clear?" She asked strictly.

Some students mumbled a small 'Yes Mam' while others ignored her and continued their talks.

Three hours later their tent were formed. Camping chairs were placed with a small table in middle. Firewoods were collected.

Thea looked at everything in awe. It was her first time she was ever camping and all this was exciting her.

She did went to small picnics with her grandma but that's all where she went to.

"Thea come, we will play truth and dare." Ava said and started dragging her towards everyone.

The sky changed from light blue to orange and red as the sun set down. The sunset was reflecting in the river making the whole water look orange and red.

Thea noticed everyone were sitting on the mat. She took a sit besides Ava.

Since childhood, she wasn't good in making friends. The only friend she has is Ava. She tried to make new friends but always failed badly.

"Alright let's start the game then." Mason said and spinned the bottle. Everyone cheered loudly.

Thea smiled. May be she can try to make some good friends during this trip.

But what she didn't knew was that instead of making some good friends, she will wake the sleeping lycans up.

She didn't knew that she will become the cause of awakening of the King of lycans.

I’m not getting a good feeling with Thea playing any of these games. It’s a setup for the local assholes to make something happen
