Chapter 6

Thea looked around and that's when she realised that she is in the basement. 

All alone.

She got up with trembling legs. Her eyes looked around. 

She shivered suddenly. Something about this place was off. She didn't knew why but she felt suffocated here. She felt the presence of something power, too powerful. 

She walked ahead with trembling legs. Her hands clutched her dress unknowingly in fear. 

Thea gasped when she was something shiny. She went near it. It was a crown. A crown made of black diamonds. 

Something in her head told her to pick the crown. With trembling hands, she touched the crown. A shiver ran down her spine. Her fingers tingled as she touched the crown. She picked the crown and placed it on her head. 

She giggled like a small kid as she kept the crown on her head. She felt like a Queen. The crown was too big for her and it was slipping down, almost coming close to her eyes. 

She looked like a fragile little girl with a crown of King on her head. 

Yes, king. The crown which Thea was wearing belonged to the Kings of lycans. 

The crown belonged to Ares. The lycan King. 

Thea looked around when she saw a throne. The throne was majestic. 

She frowned. Why is there a throne in the basement? 

She went near the throne. Something compelled her to go near it. She didn't knew why but she placed the Crown on the throne.

She unknowingly traced her fingers on the crown. A hiss left her lips when the shrap and pointed side of the crown cut her finger. Blood flew down from her finger into the crown. Thea watched as her blood went down from the crown and a drop of it fall on the throne. 

Suddenly everything became dark. The sky which was shining with stars and moon became dark. Dark clouds started to form. The winds started to blew harshly. 

It was as if even the nature was ever of what happened. The nature was warning everyone present in the earth. 

The ground started to shake violently. Thea yelped. she quickly placed the crown in her bag so that it doesn't break. 

The ground started to divide making her eyes widen. She immediately ran away from there. 

Tears formed in her eyes. She started to find a way to go out of their. 

"Thea!" A voice called her. 

She halted. She turned around fearfully. 

She sighed in relief when she noticed it was Aaron. She went towards him. 

"A-aaron please t-take me out from h-here." Thea cried helplessly. 

Aaron tried to console her and took her hand in his. He took her outside with him. 

Thea cried softly when she saw Ava standing outside. 

"Ava" Thea said her name and hugged her immediately. She was so scared. 

"Where were you Thea? I was so worried for you." Ava said and hugged Thea for some more time. She is glad that Thea is safe. 

"I am s-sorry. I got l-lost." Thea whispered. 

"Shh.. It's okay. You are safe now. We need to leave from here immediately. There's something wrong with this castle. We shouldn't stay here any longer. " Ava said.

"Where's everyone?" Thea asked. 

"They all left. Only Mason, Ethan and Aaron stayed here to find you. They all were getting worried for you." Ava said making Thea shocked. 

They were getting worried for her? 

"We should leave." Aaron said. The castle was shaking more violently than before. 

Thea and Ava nodded and went with Aaron. Aaron had already messaged Ethan and Mason that he has find Thea and told them to wait for them outside. 

They all came out of the castle. 

"Thea are you okay?" Ethan and Mason asked together. 

Mason was looking at her with something in his eyes which Thea couldn't point out. But she could she that he was scared for her. It was written all over his face. 

Ethan was looking at her in concern. Thea is a innocent girl and he didn't wanted her to get hurt. He doesn't wants to admit it but for him Thea is like little sister. He loves to tease her and make fun of her but it didn't mean that he wants her to get hurt. 

Thea nodded her head. "I a-am fine." She said. Her leg was paining, that's it. 

Out of all the people she didn't imagined Ethan and Mason to get worried for her and ask about her well being. 

Mason doesn't talks to her and Ethan always find a way to make fun of her. So, it's surprising for her to believe that they are getting worried for her. 

The whole castle started to shake suddenly. All of them looked at the castle in shock. 

Thea's eyes widen in fear. It was terrifying her. 

"There's something wrong with this castle." Ethan said. 

"We need to leave immediately guys. It's not safe to stay here anymore." Mason said.

They all left from there immediately. None of them looked back. 

If only they would have looked back they would have saw two green eyes staring at Thea's running form. 

The person was was starring at Thea was none other than Ares, the Kings of lycans. 

The merciless lycan from whom everyone is scared of, the one who terrifies everyone, the one who makes everyone bow down in fear, the one who makes everyone shake in fear by just the mention of his name, the one who rules over everyone, the one who is nightmare for everyone, the one who has no heart was awake and free from his curse. 

His curse was broken. He was finally free. 

Thea has awaken the King of lycans and she had no idea about it. 

But the King of lycans saw her and knew that she was the one to break his curse. 

Thea broke his curse with her blood. 

The king of lycans got everything he wanted and this time his eyes were on the little beauty who set him free. 

"Mate." Ares, the King of lycans whispered looking Thea who was running away from him.
