Two Years LaterSherri's P.O.V.To say the past two years have been a whirlwind would be an understatement. When we moved to Virginia, I had planned to continue my nursing career, so I began looking for a job. However, that changed after I met Shaun's supervisor. He thought Shaun and I would make a good team, so he asked if we would be willing to go undercover as a married couple.I thought it sounded intriguing, so I agreed. Our first assignment was local in Virginia. The FBI had been trying to find a way into a group that was selling children who had been kidnapped from all over the world. Shaun's P.O.V."How did it go?" Sherri asks as I walk into her apartment. She has everything packed and ready to go. Jon said he would take care of selling the furniture if the landlord didn't want to keep it."We arrested him and his wife. We rescued fifteen young women they had locked in the basement. With all the evidence we collected, people are being arrested all over the country right now. Okay, now to the important stuff. How long before we need to leave? Should I bring them something?" I ask her nervously. Sherri laughs and shakes her head."It's going to be fine, I promise. I'm glad you were able to get everyone who was involved. Go take a shower, and then it will be time to go. My parents are anxious to meet you." That could be good or bad. Sherri's P.O.V.Jon keeps looking over at us as he drives but doesn't say anything. I understand it's a lot to wrap his head around, but that doesn't change the fact that it's true. Shaun tells him to drive out as far from civilization as possible.When we reach a remote area, Jon drives down a half-hidden road as far as he can and stops.
