Shaking it up

Sophia's POV

The time has come for Sigmund to go. He has to go represent us both for the pack through the next eight to ten weeks. I know I won't take it well, but I put on a brave face for him.

My belly grumbles as I watch him leave. The maid assigned to me smiles a sad smile, letting me know she understands. When the vehicle is out of sight, I turn and follow her to the mansion I will be staying in for the next chunk of weeks.

"He will be back before you know it. It's safer this way, ma'am. He's worried about you and the baby." All I can do is nod as she wraps an arm around me, supporting me. "I will be here with you. By the time he comes back, that baby there may be ready to be born."

I look at my already growing belly, knowing that we weres carry part way between our animal and human side. That means this one will be due around 4-5 months at the latest.
