Chapter 10- The Contract

It was the following day and Adrian had lost another night of sleep. He had listened to the voicemail a few times over, thinking there was no fucking way what Lucia was saying was true as they had used protection. He lit up the last cigarette he had left and smoked it quietly, thinking this wasn’t the first time a woman had claimed to be pregnant with his child.
