Chapter 7

Reunion Time

Alex’s POV

“Hello, brother!”

“Why are you here Sophie?”

“To see my baby brother of course, I know you miss your big sister.” There she goes again.

Well Sophia is my older sister, also an S-class Alpha like me but she doesn’t have time for the family business. She loves being a mechanic and driving bikes too.

Did I tell you she is crazy?

She prefers illegal racing more at night and I am tired of talking her out of it even though she already influenced me with it. I also go for some illegal night races in the US because she is the one who taught me how to ride a bike. I still don’t know why she hates the thought of our family company.

Though she is aware of my arrival in town, I didn’t expect she would come to my residence tonight.

“Get on the bike already or you want to release your pheromones to resist? You know that will be breaking the law releasing it to endanger omegas around.” She let out that smile and she reminds me of our late mother. Mom always knows how to smile when she asks you to do something but he killed her….. he killed her.

Still thinking of the world that once had my mother in it, Sophie was already standing with me pulling my ear, “You might be an S-class alpha like me but I am still your elder sister, stop acting like you don’t know what we normally do once you are in town.”

“Ouch let go!! You know I wouldn’t miss it for anything.” I smiled at her.

“Now that’s my handsome brother.”

“But I would rather get my car.”

“Nop, you are riding with me.”

“No way!!!!”

A few moments later, I was already on her bike with her, I was screaming like a scared little baby with the speed she was using.

She hit 340 km/h again,even an expert won't use such speed.

I screamed loud in Chinese:

“停下！慢点！我们要死了！”

(Stop! Slow down! We’re gonna die!)

My voice was high and shaky, not like an alpha at all.

She laughed hard. I could feel her body shake from it. This is why I don’t like riding with her, I don’t even ride at this speed.

Then she slowed down and parked the bike right in front of Eclipse. The big neon sign glowed red and blue above the door. Some people outside turned to look.

She turned off the engine and got off first. I stayed on the seat a second, legs still shaking, hands tight from holding her.

She took off her helmet, looked at me, then suddenly burst out laughing even harder when she heard my Chinese screams echo in her head.

“OMG… it’s been years since I heard you speak Chinese! You still sound exactly the same when you’re scared, little brother!”

The only one on earth who could tease me this way it's her. I always feel this way with her, well I love my sister so much.

“你疯了。”

(You’re crazy.)

She stepped closer, eyes sparkling with amusement, still chuckling.

“How are you even an S-class alpha? Crying like that on my back the whole ride.”

She winked, voice dropping to that teasing purr. I frowned at her.

She tapped my shoulders saying,, “Let’s go in. I already reserved our table and some cute omegas. Let me welcome you properly.”

She turned and walked toward the door, hips swaying, completely relaxed.

I sat there one more second, still shaky, staring at her back.

Then I muttered under my breath in Chinese, low enough she probably didn’t hear:

“她怎么是我姐啊……”

(How is she my sister…)

I followed her inside anyway.

It’s been ages and I am glad she brought me here. She sure knows how to welcome me except for her bike riding.

“I got us something strong…tonight we are getting high.”

“Let’s do that.”

She filled our cups and we cheered.

“I was a bit surprised when you returned to town, what made you change your mind?”

I smiled…I won't tell her the reason.

“That's your assignment to find out.”

“Challenge accepted.”

“Well you will never find out.” I smiled again looking at her face,gosh she looks exactly like our late mom.

“We will find out, so have you gone to see father? He is already planning a welcome party for you and you have to attend.” She emptied her cup and turned another.

My grip on the cup hardened a bit as soon as she mentioned father.

“Did he send you?”

Sophie is the only person I listen to at any time, it hurts me now because at the end of the day I will have no other choice but to attend.

“He told me and never sent me..But please do attend,it's a big party and you won’t want it to get wasted without you,just play the role of his son and it’s okay if you leave early,” She emptied her drink, “is that why your countenance dropped?”

“Fine I will attend but can you please not talk about father?”

“Sure, so should I call you the omegas? I will be needing one tonight. I don't want my highness to get wasted.” She winked at me.

Thinking about Lucas, there wasn’t any need for me to get one when I got myself an exclusive omega.

“Why are you smiling all of a sudden? Are you so excited to fuck?”

“I don’t need any omega, I have someone already and I can’t hurt him.”

Her eyes suddenly widened and she looked around, which was creepy.

“What?”

She checked my forehead and my eyes, “You are normal to me.. you are not sick either…. What could be wrong with you?”

“Stop it already.”

“You….A player is now faithful to someone? Who is he? I would love to meet him.”

“Hell no, stay out of my life.”

“You know I can’t, I need to know the one who captured your heart, you never say no to omegas for fun, you must really be in love so why don’t you bring him to the welcome party?”

“No!!”

“You are mean and I will get you drunk.” She glanced at me angrily and ordered for more strong gin.

A few moments later,we were already getting drunk. Maotai shots lined up one after another, that strong sorghum baijiu hitting hard, burning down the throat and making everything spin fast. We were really high now, heads buzzing.

“The omegas are here,too bad you don’t….” She froze,her jaw dropped.

“Who is this beauty!!” She was lost and I haven't turned to look but the scent was somehow familiar….like Lucas when his supplements faded off. Don't tell me…..
