Chapter 43

“Amilia! Amilia!”

Senna rushed to Amilia’s apartment in frantic. Her voice echoed in the whole hallway. She almost got passed Amilia’s door but she leaned her body to stop it from going any farther. She banged and banged the door with urgency. Lizzie and Zephyr were sitting at the couch when they hear it. Their eyes were glued to the television before it turns to the door.

Lizzie was quick on her feet to open the door and saw a flushed Senna. Her eyes were in panic and she was stuttering. Her hands were also moving from all directions. Lizzie was having difficulty understanding her gestures and words.

“Senna, calm down. What’s wrong? Where’s your father?” Lizzie placed her hands on Senna’s shoulder.

Senna choked down a sob. A lone tear escaped her eyes. She was heaving and sobbing and then when it looks like she can’t handle the emotions, she cried. She was wailing and tears were just streaming down her eyes like a water dam. Uncontrollable. Senna’s shoulder shook violently.
