Chapter 59

Lizzie found Amilia lying unconsciously on the floor when she returned to get her. They were already at the scene when they noticed that Amilia was not with them. She kneeled beside her friend and tried to wake her up. Amilia was not responding.

“Help! Nurse!” Lizzie shouted for help.

One of the nurses walking in the hallway heard her call and was quick to help her. The nurse checked her pulse and when she felt a slow beat there, she called for a male nurse to help them put Amilia on the bed. Lizzie was just standing at the side, worrying for her friend. She didn’t think much of it and thought that Amilia fainted due to shock. She waited until her friend was settled down in the bed and the nurse told her that there is no major problem.
