After running through the partial darkness for a while, Arabella stopped to catch her breath. She crouched over with both hands on her knees as she panted for air.
That man… Although she couldn’t make out his face, his voice came off as though he’d been trying to seduce her, and that alone sent chills through her body. Anyways she vowed she wouldn’t see him again. He gave the vibe of a very dangerous and mysterious being, and that was all she needed to steer clear of the stranger she didn’t even see clearly. After being known as the ‘rag girl’ in high school, she’d grown accustomed to males speaking harshly to her.Her uncle Grayson was no exception to this too.Not just males to but the female students also made fun of her because she always looked like a mess, and if they ever caught her speaking with a boy… no matter the reason, they’d tease the guy till he began to hate her.Over time, she’d become quiet and withdrawn with the mindset that people were so trashy. When others attempted to talk with her, she’d usually avoid them or speak back rudely so they’d stay away from her.Although it didn’t always work out as expected and some individuals had taken it personally, Arabella just didn’t care at all.She vigorously shook her head at those thoughts. ‘It’s all in the past now, I’ll be living differently from now on’. She assured herself finally getting up straight, discarding the thoughts of that stranger as she began to approach the nearest ship. Regardless of its destination, anywhere was better than here and she was determined to get out of this dump of a city! She sighted the line of workers moving crates as she clung against the wall to avoid drawing attention. There was a stack of smaller crates up ahead, so she moved to hide there for the time being. It took about half a minute for curiosity to get the best of her, and she raised her head to open one of the crates up in the cover of the darkness. She glanced inside with narrowed eyes trying to make out whatever had been inside.“What’s all this?” Her eyes widened at the sight of what looked like a pile of paper bills and she blinked twice to confirm, “No way! This is fake, right?” She questioned before reaching to take a feel at it.It was real money, the paper cold to her touch, and at first she felt a bit scared but suddenly she felt some kind of joy spring up in her. Looking left and right, Arabella coughed a bit and taking handfuls of the paper she shoved it into different layers of her clothing. She must have made the right decision by leaving, as she could feel her luck changing. The only thing she had to do now was leave this place quietly, without being caught.Overjoyed, Arabella packed her clothes full with the money, and as she stuffed herself full, the crate didn’t even seem to show any difference from how it was before so she decided to scatter the rest of the money, in order to hide the evidence of a missing row.If only she’d had gotten an opportunity like this some years back… If only she’d gotten money like this some years ago, then things might have been a bit better for her.She might have been able to stand tall in school, and afford all she wanted. Her grades were always close to the bottom of the class as her uncle never bought books for her, and she had to go to the library whenever she wanted to confirm anything, but if she had some money that would have never been a problem. She didn’t dare ask others for their textbooks as they’d mostly disliked her, but if she had seen this crate of money then… She wouldn’t only have bought books but the best clothes!.Recalling how she’d suffered to pass all her finals by the skin of her teeth, and then the insulted he had blasted her with when he saw her results had hurt so much.He was the one to blame for everything – For her lack of intelligence, even for the poor state she was in.If she had even just a crate of money here then maybe, she could live alone and well in the nearest future without having to bother any freaking humans or have any one take advantage of her.‘If she managed to get on this ship, then she would have to take out as much money as possible’ She thought again as her eyes narrowed, wondering if other crates were also stacked up with this same money. It didn’t matter that she was basically stealing, all Arabella wanted was to get the cash stack and…“Those are the last boxes, right?”.She heard the voices of some men approaching and hurriedly dropped the cover of the crate she was holding a panic.“Oh no…” She muttered hearing their approaching footsteps, and another chilling fear coursed through her. What if it was that stranger from earlier? What if these men were dangerous and… Now was not the time to think! She chided herself, and her eyes searching around, Arabella proceeded to open each boxes trying to look for an empty one she could hide in.All the boxes she opened were still full of money, and she was almost giving up when finally she saw one that was basically empty and a large sigh of relief came out from her parched throat.Without even saying another word or looking left or right, she raised her legs, maneuvering her steps and crawling into the stuffy space. If she’d been any larger, it would be seriously uncomfortable to squeeze in, but thankfully for her skin stature, she was able to fit easily despite having to fold her arms and legs together. She could hear the voices of the men still, and this time they were much more closer until…“Woooh…” Arabella gasped internally, as she felt someone lift the crate she was in, and then he began to walk.Damn?m! Where were they taking her too?“This one seems lighter than the rest.” Someone pointed out as they walked, and instantly Arabella could only think of the money she’d stolen. To worsen her situation she heard another person ask, “Do you think someone removed its contents? Should we check?”‘No! No!’ She was already chanting, as sweat broke out all over her, and the cramped crate space became even more unbearable for her.“Shh… don’t says stuff like that so our boss doesn’t hear you.” Another warned, and Arabella felt a fleeting comfort course through her. Thankfully this person was seemingly saving her from almost being caught. As they continued to walk with her in the crate still, Arabella could only hope that no one would discover her.…….After the young woman had run away, Klaus had gone to find out what went wrong with the van but the driver had called it an accident. He’d felt like digging his fingers into the man’s throat in annoyance, and snapping his neck at the same time. Now such a good-looking prey has escaped from his sights. A young mysterious woman who seemed to have awoken his carnal instructs.Fuck! He went back to pace around the ship, asking his men if any of them had seen a wandering young girl moving around or even a boy, just any strange being, but they had all answered negatively much to his disappointment.Once again, Klaus was reminded that the lady whomever she was, wasn’t supposed to be out at such hours of the night, hence he had to mention the fact that he was aware of her presence to his workers lest they harm her.At least now, if anyone was to set their eyes on her - they’d drag her back to him immediately instead of killing her or doing something harmful to her.Back to his carnal instincts… She had freaking smelt like a virgin- And even though he didn’t see her face all to clearly, an array of disconcerting emotions were written all over her face.Oh… how he’d like to have teased her a little more before she had ran away, and now all he was left with was memories, and that scent of hers that gnawed at his insides.A light smile formed on his lips as he thought about the star he girl all again. It was quite entertaining to see her scared and flustered after being discovered - even though he hadn’t done anything yet, but more than that Klaus was suddenly filled with the urge of seeing more than just her reaction. He wanted something else… Maybe just a small taste, of her innocence when he would attempt to seduce her with his words.Like a little mouse backed to a corner by a cat who was about to pounce on it, he would cage and feast on her.Hopefully, she wasn’t underaged. He holed… From her stature, voice and the way she acted, she looked about seventeen… maybe eighteen. He had caught quite a good glimpse of her clothing luckily and the black gown she’d worn had patches at different angles which only meant two things.Either she was poor, a runaway or just some wandering kid.Whatever the case, it came as a huge disappointment when none of his members seemed to have seen her yet, and now they were just about to leave. She said came to see her brother, which was a blatant lie but then had she succeeded in doing whatever had brought her here. Had she run away from the docks, or was she hidden somewhere around the docks which he just couldn't trace. He tried tracing her scent, but all to no avail. Why was he even still thinking about that little woman? He frowned, his hands raking through his hair as he recalled again that he was almost two times her age.Even though his demonic attribute was Lust, and she awakened his carnal instincts, one thing Klaus never did was fuck children, no matter what.Women under the age of 18, didn’t fantasize him at all and so they were left out of his bed.Shaking his head and dispelling thoughts of a certain feisty strange women, Klaus turned back to stare at the docks one more time before making an announcement, his voice ringing out loudly, “That’s enough! Load the remaining crates in the vans!”“Yes sir!” The men chimed in, and at the same time a pair of two men who were already carrying a box towards the ship, dropped their loads in another van, as they prepared to leave and seeing that everything was moving fine, Klaus made his way to his own dark van.He waited a bit, as cremated were loaded, and finally everything was packed away. His door closing behind him and giving an instruction to his driver, Klaus sat back comfortably on the leather seat, as the car’s ignition started driving off with the other trucks following close behind.“Yes, close the gates.” The voice of a man called out close to the back of the van where Arabella was before opening it up and leaving. The screeching noise woke the young woman from her short-lived sleep. “Ugh…” She groaned lowly slightly opening her eyes to find light pouring in through the gaps in the wooden crate. The fact that she could fall asleep in such an uncomfortable position, just went to show how tired she’d been after days of barely any sleep and yawning, she lowered her face to think for a moment. She recalled being carried towards the ship, but then the vehicle moving sounded like they were on the road for a while, and then she had no idea when she had fallen asleep, but now she was wide awake and so she was curious to find out just exactly where she was.The noise from earlier seemed to have calmed down so it was probably okay to take a peek outside, but then she was was still in the crate, and worst-case scenario would be if they nailed the lid of the wooden box s
“A pleasant surprise, is it not?” Klaus arched a mused brow, watching as the girl struggled against the strong grip of the men holding her. He had to admit it.He wasn't used to surprises, hell! Nothing could ever take that element. But this one? The puny young female in front of him was different. Her audacity was enthralling, intriguing. She glared at him, hunger, anger, pain and fear, all ladened in two brown orbs. His dark eyes scanned her small lanky frame, her thin bones that he could snap in the blink of an eye and at the thought he growled ferociously. His men had brought her to her knees, yet there was a strong and stubborn resolve in her, a fire that would not be easily quenched."So, I was right after all, when I saw you earlier. You were lying." He allowed his voice to remain calm, even though he was currently raging inside. His demon was reacting to her in ways he did not expect, in ways he did not like or did he? Seeing her on her knees... it did something to him."I wa
The voices in Arabella’s head continued to scream at her. She was stuck at a crossroad, and she did not know what path she was going to take. What the hell had she just said? Agreeing to his words almost immediately. Damn but she was a fool!Rubbing her palms against her ragged clothes, her heart thumping in her chest, she looked down to the floor. Beads of sweat trickled down her forehead, but she made no effort to wipe them off. She allowed them run down her face until she tasted the drops at the top of her lower lip; salty and sour, just how she was feeling at that moment. Her heart squeezed in her chest until she could barely breathe. Scorching and burning drops of tears threatened to rush down her eyes, and even though she fought it with everything she had, she eventually gave up.There was one truth that she could not deny though; if he killed her, it will all be over. All of it. She and her memories - that is if there was anyone to remember her - would be gone with the wind.
Klaus strangely saw it all. He saw all the emotions he had intended to evoke in her. He saw her fear when she felt the cold metal barrel of the gun kiss the back of her skull. He saw her raw and unfiltered anger when he had pronounced her a slave. He saw her helplessness, her confusion, and by the devils he was loving every moment of it.Seeing her brown eyes sparkle with all those deep emotions, smelling the sorrow that emanated from her soul, the pain that showed in her eyes, the anger that burnt within her like a fiery flame, all of this fed his soul, and he knew it wasn’t supposed to be a think of joy, but he was a demon after all and only pain and dark things brightened his spirit.Every single thing she was going through now, brought joy to his heart. He had never felt such a manner of raw excitement from a girl as young as she was. She was stubborn, her spirit would be hard to tame, but he would love every moment of it.Just as he would love to peel the layer of innocence off h
Klaus raised his eyes and watched his slave stand still, her feet glued to the ground. She appeared to be in a state of discomfort, and taking note of the beads of sweat gathered on her forehead, he already knew she had something to say.He could see the words dance at the tip of her tongue, even though her lips were firmly shut, and heaving a sigh, he shook his head and arched a brow at her."Come here. Take a sit." He ordered, his voice echoing in the room, arresting the attention of all and sundry, including the woman in front of him and this time with his face dropped down, he made the statement without glancing up at her.Why the fuck had she even stood like a statue or something? He was becoming a big irritated. He had only invited her over for breakfast after all. He had seen her shiver when his gaze had borne into her back when his face had been lifted, and even then he could sense her fear.He heard the sound of her heart beating fast, while he caught sight of her weak and
Klaus eyes were focused intently on his laptop screen, as he worked in his home office. He was barely aware of the time, as the room was always dark with its dark gray polished walls, matching window blinds and furniture. The only light in the room was the one which emanated from the screen of his laptop, and after some time, a yawn escaping his lips, his gaze shifted to the digital clock beside his laptop, and that was when he found out that it was already six in the evening. He hissed and looked away from the clock, realizing that he had spent all day working his head and eyes off that he had forgotten all about lunch, and he was also on the verge of escaping dinner too.His stomach growled, hurting him painfully and another wave of anger coursed through him when suddenly he remembered how he had left his half eaten breakfast in anger too. The thought of Arabella suddenly came rushing over him like violent waves from the ocean, and remembering that she was the cause of this turbul
Arabella skillfully worked the wet mop on the cream colored marble tiles, as she worked vigorously. She had been instructed to do a general clean up of the house, which included rooms she would not normally clean, and she was trying her best to do her work well.It had been four days since she came into this mansion, and everyday it seemed she uncovered a new room, or some hidden chamber. Nevertheless, the place was so big.The days going by speedily, she recounted how she helped Mrs George in the kitchen, spent her time doing laundry most times and eating her meals in the room. When she wasn't doing laundry, she was shelving and rearranging books in the large library - the place which was soon becoming her favorite place in this large house.Even though she didn't get a chance to read anything from her master's grand collection, being surrounded by so much knowledge and art was something she really appreciated, and she cherished her time there so much.Arabella had also noticed som
When Klaus stepped into his room, the almost sinful sight in front of him, had caused him to stop in his tracks instantly. The blood in his face and almost every other part of his body seemed to rush down to his dick, and swallowing swallowed hard, he sought for ways to dampen his dry throat, while he stared at the lady in front of him. What the heck? Slipping his hands into the pockets of his dark bathrobe to mask his painful and fast growing erection, Klaus cussed within himself as he examined the unruly sight in front of him, as he struggled deeply to take his eyes off her.He just couldn’t, and seeing as she had not noticed his presence in the room, he kept on staring. Fucking Slave, Fucking Arabella, bent over his bed, leaning against the soft foam and tucking the sheets into the wooden bed frame. Her curvy back was bent over, and her curvy ass was also thrown backwards. The length of her gown had risen all the way to her mid thighs, and if she lowered herself any further, he
