Violet's pov.

“You shouldn't have asked that, Nessa. Not in front of so many girls.” I shouted as I entered our dorm.

I slammed the door close, so she doesn't walk in after me.

I completely forgot that we share the room.

It is hers as much as it is mine.

“What are you so worked up about?, this is your chance, Violet.” She grinned from ear to ear.

I threw my hands in the air, already drained by the thought of something many requests.

“Chance at what exactly?, I was totally fine with being invisible, now you have me out in the open for the vultures of this school.”

Nessa cackled loud, I don't see anything funny in what I just said.

She came to my bed, and put a reassuring hand on my shoulder.

“There is no need to be scared, roomie. The triplets got your back, don't they?”

I didn't tell her this, but the triplets won't do something like that for me without wanting something huge in return.

It might probably be the last time they ever do such.

“I still don't see the sense in it.”

Her hands closed in on me.

“Look at it this way, the triplets saved you, right?, and it's got the attention of all their admirers, including me.

Just think of it as a side hustle, anyone would kill to go on a date with alpha triplets, they'd pay and even do anything. You'd be the most respected girl in Preston academy.”

My face contorted into a somewhat displeased form.

I'm not looking forward to any of those, not in the least.

I removed her hand as politely as I could from my shoulder.

Her bright eyes widened at my sudden change in character

“That won't be possible, I'm sorry but I can't help with such tasks, it won't end well. I can already feel it.”

Nessa's face fell into acute sadness.

“You don't want to help because you don't regard me as a friend. It shouldn't be that hard, except you also have feelings for the triplets.”

Her accusations stung me like an arrow to the chest.

She was right, a greater part of me doesn't want to embark on this ordeal because of how much it'll taunt me.

“Are you crazy.” I forced a laugh

“I'm their maid, remember?. I've seen those three at their worst, and believe me, nothing about them pricks my heart like it does to yours.”

The lie felt bitter in my throat.

Nessa took both mg hand in hers and gave me a puppy look. Her brown eyes dilated so much I couldn't help it.

“Gosh, fine, I'll do it okay. I'll try, but I can't guarantee that the triplets will go along with it.”

She pinched my chin softly.

“You can't know until you try.”

“Hmmm.” I smiled so wide that all my teeth showed.

“I need you to do one thing though.” Sfe begged.

I almost groaned in agony, could the requests get any higher?.

“Damian, a lot of girls want him as well, can you do me a solid as your roomie, make sure he chooses me.”

I raised both thumbs to assure her.

She threw her arms around me in a bear like hug.

“Thank you, thank you.” She mumbled into my neck.

I pushed her off.

“Not a hugger, remember?”

“You'd get more of those when you finish the job.”

“Nahhh, keep it to yourself.”

I rose to my feet.

“I have to go see the triplets.”

Nessa bit her lip to stop from herself from squealing.

I will never understand why they act like crazed fans for the triplets.

I'm one to talk, when all I do in my room back at the mansion is to imagine the three of them laying beside me half naked when I go to sleep.

I shuddered at the thought when I reached their door.

Three soft knocks as they've always told me to do back home.

The door opened and a pile of clothes dumped over my forehead.

Derek and Damian's provocative laughter burned in my ears.

“Get to the washing, maid.”
