His Control Is Slipping

~ Emilia ~

The bang I felt on my head when I woke up was massive.

I smiled, remembering how Adrain carried me in his arms to my room and then tucked me into bed after I told him I felt sleepy.

He really cared, though. He ensured the vase didn’t hit my head, not just once but thrice.

How do you feel when someone you think doesn't love you suddenly starts to care? The feeling is reassuring, so reassuring that you would fall for him again.

I rolled myself out of the bed and headed to the bathroom.

When I came back to my room, my mind raced back to the event that played earlier.

How could a vase drop from the servants' quarters not even once but three whole times?

Something is off. I sat down on my bed and crossed my leg, looking up to the sky as the thoughts flew in.

I saw the figure, at least from his neck down to his head. But they were all covered in a black mask; I couldn’t see his face.

Why would someone throw off a vase without even checking if someone was there?

Let's say the vase had hit me; I would be sure to be bedridden for at least some weeks.

I sighed dramatically and stood from the bed; taking a shower will help calm the throbbing headache that engulfed me.

I had run a long bath and was pulling my cloth from the dresser when my door creaked open.

I flinched and turned towards the door to take in whoever would foolishly barge into someone's room without knocking.

“Adrain." I gasped, taking down my eyes to stare at my half-naked body.

I was only tying a towel that stopped above my knee.

I took my eyes back at Adrain, and he stood still staring at me; his right hand held the door handle, and his mouth fell open.

“Why would you just badge in without knocking?" I said, but it came out more like a sob.

He didn’t utter a word, his eyes steadily fixed on me. He trailed his eyes from my leg to my chest and then to my hair.

He swallowed and his throat bobbed.

The bobbing sound affected me as I craved for him. It felt like I wanted him, like I wanted him to touch me.

“What the fuck are you thinking? Emilia, put yourself in order.” I screamed at myself, gently tapping my head.

“What do you want, Adrain?" I decided to break the silence.

He then left the door handle.

"Sorry for badging in that way, I just wanted to check on you.”

My face dropped as I stared at him in awe.

Did Adrain just apologise for doing something wrong or did I hear wrongly?

He stepped closer. “Yeah, I’m sorry for badging that way."

He just did it again; he repeated his apology.

I smiled within; I guess Adrain is finally getting to fall through.

He really cares these days.

Adrain stopped in front of me and looked into my eyes before speaking.

“The vase, did you get hurt in any way?"

I shook my head, remembering he had asked this after the incident.

“I’m fine. No injury."

His hands moved to my wet hair, and he soothed it with his palm. Droplets of water from my hair trailed from my face down to my chest and, in a way, found their way into my towel and then onto my boobs.

I shrieked, wishing that feeling was coming from Adrain's hands.

I closed my eyes, my mind clouded with imaginations of Adrain moving his hands from my hair down to my chest and cupping my boobs, squeezing them slowly.

“Ohhhh." I moaned out in pleasure. Adrian's palm pressed against mine, and my eyes snapped open at once.

I bit down on my lip, realizing what I had just done.

My face flushed in embarrassment, and I stared down at the floor.

Adrain held my chin up and leaned in closer.

“You’ve got a nice body, Emy." He teased and leaned close.

"Having a taste of it wouldn’t be a bad idea.”

I didn’t utter a word. I knew within me that I wanted him so bad, but then it felt like he just wanted to satisfy himself and no feelings were attached.

“Can I touch you, Emilia?"

I nodded before he could even finish with his question.

He smiled as his hands left my hair and rested on my neck.

His face moved so close to mine that I could count his breath. Our noses met, and he bent his face forward to crash his lips on mine when a loud knock on my door interrupted.

“Luna Emily, may I come in?” Ivy's voice laced out from outside as I hurriedly disentangled from Adrain's grip.

  • Sold To The Alpha, Now I'm A Werewolf    Someone Is Watching

~ Adrain ~I paced in my room, patiently waiting for Austin to arrive.“You called me." Austin bowed as soon as he stepped in."Earlier at the courtyard, did you make sure all the guards were present?" I stopped to face him.He tilted his head, then nodded."Yes, Alpha, I made sure they all left their quarters."“No," I shook my head. “They didn’t all leave their quarters.” I leaned closer.“Who then threw the glass?"“The glass?" Austin echoed, confused.“Yes, the vase. Not just once or even twice, but thrice. Three fucking times." I made the sign with my hands for clearer understanding.Austin still looked confused, and then I knew I needed to explain.“After addressing the guards, I was leaving and then bumped into Emilia, and next thing, a vase fell from the servant quarters almost hitting her.” I paused.Austin's expression was unreadable, but a mix of shock and confusion was written all over him.“I pulled her out the first time, the second, and the third time." I clenched my fi

I screamed as the glass fell the second time, shattering on the floor inches before me.I rested my head on his chest and shut my eyes tightly. The glass would have shattered on my head if not for Adrain.I opened my eyes and raised my head to look at him, and our eyes met.'No,' I screamed in my head. Don't fall for this Emilia. He just wanted to save you, not because you are special. It’s still the same thing he would have done for anyone that stood there.I disentangled from his hold."Thanks," I muttered and turned to leave when his voice stopped me."Just wait, Emilia.”I stopped in my tracks without turning to face him.He walked up to me and held my shoulders.“You are upset with me, Emilia.” He started.I stood still, not even movin

  • Sold To The Alpha, Now I'm A Werewolf    The Alpha's Cruelty

~ Emilia ~ I watched Adrain leave and shook my head in disgust. Adrain isn't even worth my love. But wasn’t I even a fool for falling for someone who made it clear in the first place that our marriage was just for paper's sake and nothing else attached to it? But something off was going on in this pack. I have overheard Austin complaining about a curse and the death of someone. I hissed; it shouldn’t be any of my business though. The pack's affairs aren't meant to be bothering me. My next plan was finding out more about Charlotte and how she is anyway, Ava. I looked at the drawing and made up my mind not to continue with it or even look at it ever again. I needed to concentrate on my well-being till the marriage days elapse, and I would leave just as he said. I folded back the half-painted drawing, including the box of instruments I needed for the drawing, and headed outside to trash it. I didn’t want to trash it anywhere close because looking at it might make me wa

And I clenched my fist. What did I just do? Tried to be intimate with Emilia and even mistook her for Charlotte, mentioning Charlotte's name at that point.Emilia's face played on my head. Though I was drunk, I could recall how tear

  • Sold To The Alpha, Now I'm A Werewolf    I Was Never The One

~ Emilia ~I had waited up almost all night waiting for Adrain. But he didn’t show up.I was a bit confused on why I was actually waiting for him, not like he cared about me, though. We weren’t even married as normal couples. It was just a contract marriage that would last for a few days.“I don’t think he is going to show up, ma'am. " His beta Austin bowed after watching me pacing up and down in the living room for hours."It's fine, Austin. Not necessarily waiting for him, though. I just couldn’t sleep.”Adrain moved towards the door. “Alpha mentioned he wouldn’t be home early, so I think you should just go in and sleep." He said and left."My goodness," I exhaled. Why was I even waiting for someone who didn't know I was waiting for him?I sighed heavily and went up to my room.I tossed on my bed, trying to sleep, but I couldn’t.I rose from the bed and decided to still wait for him a little while.I came back to the living room and sat down; my mind raced with thoughts as I stared
