Chapter Twenty - Five

The meadow was beautiful, like Evie had imagined it to be. She assembled the arrows and then the swords she had brought for the six of them.

It was nice seeing that they were all in the huge meadow, all together to shoot and learn how to do that.

She had never thought the Lord would tag along, and she was happy he did.

"Are you sure it's the same? I don't think it is." Lady Quinn said, picking up the dry meat to drop it on the plates she had begun to arrange.

"Really? I actually thought it was the same thing." Evie said, scrunching up her nose in disgust as she watched the Lady Quinn drop another piece of meat into the fry pan.

The meadow visit had somehow turned into a picnic, a big picnic she was enjoying.

She kept shuffling through the bags she had dropped, only for something to fall down. When she bent to pick it, big, huge hands had already picked it up from the ground, and she turned around to see the King pocketing the item in his garments.

"Is it yours?" She squinted her eyes
