My name is Acacia Ferguson, and this is my story. I have been working two jobs just to make sure that my stepfather, Harold, was alright. It was just us for now, since my mother had rejected him and left. He changed a lot and became more abusive towards me. He's always drunk and broke. I have to be the one to work and make sure that the bills are taken care of, as well as putting food on the table. As soon as I got home, Harold would find something to argue with me about. Every so often, I don't even want to be there, but I have to make sure he's alright. Even though he's not my real father, I still treat him as such. I called him Dad most times because he's the closest person to a father to me. I never knew my real father. No matter how many times I've asked my mother to tell me about him, she wouldn't. It got to a point where I just stopped asking about him, knowing that I won't get an answer. Waving goodbye to my coworker, I left in a hurry so that I could get home and start cooking. I didn't mind, though, because it was in my genes to do these things. You see, I'm an omega and also mateless. Harold has taken me away from our pack that's called the silver moon pack, ever since the day my mother rejected him. Which was three years ago. My Alpha said that I was welcome back anytime, so he made sure that I wasn't deemed a rogue. I told my Alpha that I didn't want to leave, but I had to since I had no other choice. I was young at that time, only fifteen years old, so I still needed a parent figure in my life. Harold didn't care about me or my feelings, that much I can guarantee. After I arrived home in my beat-up car, which was a beetle that shouldn't be allowed on the road, I called out to Harold. He didn't reply, so I breathed a sigh of relief that I didn't have to deal with him and his ways for now, since he wasn't home. As tired as I was, I made my way toward the kitchen so that I could get started on his favorite meal. Harold always requested this meal since it reminded him of Mom. As I got started on dinner, I heard the door open and left to see who it was. I cringed when I noticed that it was Harold and hurriedly made my way back to the kitchen. It took half an hour, but dinner was done, and I started to set the table, just in time for him to sit down. When I made sure his meal was in front of him, I was about to leave, but he stopped me. “Where are you going, girly? Go and get some food for yourself and come sit down.” This was the first time he made such an offer, so I did as he asked without any protest. While we were eating, he started talking to me as if it were the old times, the time when Mom was around and we were happy. “How was work today? You have to leave for your other job tonight, right?” He asked, and I nodded my head. “Yes, Dad, I have to be there at eight.” He hummed a little, then went back to eating. When we were done, and I started to clear the table, he stopped me by grabbing onto my wrist and holding on tight. The dish that I had in my hand fell and shattered on the floor because of how hard I was trembling. 'Do not be afraid, everything will be alright.' My wolf Mesha said, so I started to calm down a bit. “Some people are coming here tomorrow to meet you. Make sure you ask for the day off for both of your jobs so that I can do a proper introduction.” I nodded my head and decided not to answer him. He may not have a title, but I was still an omega, and he was higher in power than I was. “Good, now finish cleaning up and go to bed when you're done. I want you to be well rested for tomorrow.” He released my arm, and I continued to do what I was doing without looking at him. He was usually drunk at this time, no matter if it was during the day. But this time, he appeared to be sober. I wonder if it had something to do with the people who were coming over tomorrow. When I was finally done with everything, I made my way towards my room and fell on the bed instantly. I was too tired to do anything, I wanted to take a shower and change, but for now, I'll relax until I have to leave in a couple of hours. I jumped up from the sound of my alarm and frantically started to get ready for my other job before I was late. I took a shower which was quicker than usual, hey don't judge me. Once you're in my shoes, you'll realize that a two-minute shower is nothing. Grabbing my jeans and long sleeve blouse, I got dressed in record time. I didn't have an opportunity to do my hair, which was always difficult to tame, so I tied it up in a loose bun and called it a night. Making sure that I had everything, I hurriedly made my way outside and got in my car, and drove off. Being a waitress for one of the most popular restaurants here in Manitoba, Canada, wasn't easy. I had to be on time and make sure that everything was alright, even though it was stressful and demanding, I enjoyed it a lot because of the tips that I've been getting. Perks of being an omega. There are higher-ranked wolves who are always after me. I tried my best to steer clear of them, but they always leave me good tips, so I'm fine with that. I finally arrived in record time and parked in the parking lot for employees only and got out. I started running towards the back entrance where we were supposed to enter through first and giggled to myself as I nearly tripped. Opening the door in a hurry, I fell this time, and embarrassingly enough, every one of my coworkers was there getting ready. “Acacia, are you alright?” My favorite person of all time, Jeremy, asked as he helped me off the floor. “Yeah, I'm just extra clumsy tonight, don't mind me. I'll get ready, and we can head out together.” I replied. He gave me two thumbs up, and I started doing what I said. Hopefully, tonight will be different, and I will be able to make plenty of tips.(Six months later)(Elio) After Alex's death, everyone had been emotional. Trying to pick up from where we left off was a hard task to complete. But we were determined to. We were grieving for the loss of our friend and beta. No matter what he did, he's just someone that no one could hate. As for Austin, he told me that he had been the one to help Acacia escape. After the war, he started to spill everything. I didn't hate him for doing it, though. It's something that needs to be done. Now, I realized just how fucked up I really am. Knowing that they had to go behind my back and help my mate ran from me, was the hardest part of this. So, I won't judge them for what they did. After all, I deserved it. Today, marks the day of the ceremony. We were doing it the right way, no matter my age. Storm had fought dad and won, obtaining a title that wasn't rightfully his since he didn't go through the ritual. But, we earned it. And that's one hell of an accomplishment if you asked me. Stan
(Storm) I knew that something was wrong once I got back to the pack house. Hearing shouts coming from my warriors and men who had decided to stay and fight as well had me speeding up. I saw my father's wolf tackling a rogue before biting down on its neck. Knowing that he was alright to fight on his own, I threw the rogue that I was carrying and heard a resulting crack as it landed against a tree. I ran towards three rogues who came barreling towards me. I didn't wait for them to take me on, as I tackled them one by one. I was right before. This is my specialty. So, it didn't take long for me to kill them.I growled in frustration as more and more rogues came. I wonder how Jessica was able to get them to take part in the fight. Luckily for me, everyone was well-trained to take them on. I was busy gloating over the fact that we were well on our way to victory. But, I should have known that it wasn't going to be this easy. A rogue ran towards me when I wasn't concentrating, almost
(Elio) 'So, what do you think?' I asked Storm after coming back from a run. He desperately wanted it, so after making sure that Acacia was gone, I shifted. We had spent at least half an hour running before I had to go to training.'About?' Storm replied, I rolled my eyes in return. He knew exactly what I was talking about, yet he was acting like he didn't. 'Acacia. She accepted us even though we treated her like garbage before. I was expecting her to reject me the moment she returned.' Storm huffed while taking control of my body for a brief moment and swinging at the opponent. 'Damn, can't a wolf live in peace? Ok, I admit that I went about everything the wrong way. But, it wasn't really me that was in control. The medicines that were injected in us had their side effects, and I didn't know that she was my mate. If I did, then maybe I would have treated her differently. Who knows, though? I'm a fucked up wolf.' Storm didn't even sound, sorry. I groaned, not liking the idea of havi

(Acacia) “Your wolf, he's back!” I exclaimed as I looked at Elio with wide eyes. He was also shocked, not expecting it to happen so soon.“I-I'm talking to him! Damn, he's really back, and it's all because of you.” Elio replied, I gave him a confused look, wondering what he was talking about. “It seems as if you accepted us, one touch from you, and he came back. Maybe that was all it needed after all.” I nodded my head happily. After a while, Elio went back to being serious. There was still a war that's about to take place. We couldn't just sit back and act as if everything were alright. “My father is already working on getting the women and children out of here. I want you to leave as well.” I was going to argue with him, but he gave me a pointed look which had me closing my mouth.“That's final Acacia. You are pregnant with my pup. You are an easy target, Jessica knew that I wanted an heir, it's the reason I purchased you in the first place.” When he said that, I could tell that
(Acacia) I was slowly regaining consciousness when a hand was suddenly placed over my mouth, blocking any sound that I would make. I started to panic, knowing that this was probably it for me. But then, the person took their hand away and placed his index finger against his lips, telling me to be quiet. He then removed the mask from his face, and I noticed that it was Elton. I breathed a sigh of relief, thinking that he was here to save me. “I'm so sorry about this, I will get you out of here. But, you have to promise me you won't tell Alpha King Elio that I was the one who helped you, I knew all along that this was the work of Jessica.” He explained as he got to work untying the knots on my wrists. I groaned when they were free while gently massaging them. “How did you know?” I asked. He gestured to me to follow him quietly, which I did. “This was her mother's hideout. Before she passed away, Maryanne would sometimes take Jessica here.” I nodded my head as we made our way throug
