Chapter 31: Faith.

I stood in place staring at the box as hot tears streamed down my cheeks.

Dante had closed the box up. It was vile right down to the card describing how much they loved Carlos's screams.

The sound of tyres screeching got my attention and I looked to see Alvaro's car speedily stop next to mine on the road.

I watched as he got out and took long strides to come into the store. He burst through the doors and his eyes landed on me before he moved to look in the box.

He was wearing his black gloves. "Call someone to get rid of this," he said to Dante.

He took the card and opened it. The veins on his neck and forehead were growing as his eyes turned red with rage, skimming each line as his jaw ticked.

"Quien dejo esto," he looked up at Dante, slamming the card down on the counter, "quien fucking dejo esto!"

"Stop," I said and his head snapped in my direction. His chest was heaving and he put a hand in his hair. "The box was laying outside the store. We both saw it at the same time. It's not

Gosh I love this novel even though it brings on the tears every now and then its storyline is so real with lots of emotions.
