Damien's pov
I looked at the girl, noticing how her eyes grew wide in shock. We both locked eyes and I could instantly tell she was scared. I wasn't surprised. It's been a normal way of life since our existence; feeding off the fear of people in our presence. We thrived on them and Anastasia wasn't any different. She looked like any other she-wolf we've encountered - nothing special there. I've seen a lot more beautiful women. But green eyes. Now that was something to caught my attention. Only witches had green eyes and they were rare. I had never seen her wolf with green eyes before and certainly not an emerald green shade that looked like jewels- like the pendant of the jewel around her neck. That amulet looked so familiar - It exuded this aura around her that made It impossible for me to even access her inner and thoughts. I doubted she knew the power of the amulet around her neck. Her weakness disgusted me and made me furious. As the eldest, I dreamed of having an heir from a powerful woman, someone who was worthy of mothering my child. We have so many female warriors as concubines, women who had what It took to fill in for this position. But my father had picked her? Why? I didn't know, but It was started in his will, and not only that, It had been sealed with fate. It was either or we die without any heritage to our name. Unfortunately, we'd have to make do with her, but I still felt that there was something unique about this petite, frail woman who stole before us. Darius chuckled scornfully at her livid expression but I didn't find It funny. "Draven..." I called out a warning but he just smirked cruelly, the type I knew that meant whatever he had in mind was not good, not even taking his eyes off the girl as he said. "She looks like a literal child, Damien. If she's going to bear our heir, she might as well be capable of taking us on without dying." The last word caught her off guard visibly and her face became paler. I did agree with Draven. We needed an heir as soon as a possibility, especially with the upcoming war with the Forbidden. With how frail she looked, I doubted she was physically capable of even mature with us, and the ritual required her to mate with all three of us. If she died In the process, it was over for us. The fact that she had to strip was unnecessary, but I didn't want to argue with Draven, given that he was the one to get what he wanted whether and however. "Did I stutter, little lamb? Or would you like me to help?" His voice was daunting and cold. Darius seemed to be having the time of his life just spectating and I on the other hand didn't even care at this point. "No..." Her voice, annoying soft, and weak echoed in the room before she pulled the robe around her right her. "I... I'll do It." "Haven't you done this before? What do you think is so special about your body that we haven't seen in a better woman before?" Darius added. We watched as she shakily began taking off the robe before letting It fall to the ground, leaving her in just her see-through Satin. Despite having taken off the robe, her arms instinctively moved to cover her blossoms which had their nipples peeking from the linen. "Unlike you, we have other better things to do than sit here and let you waste our time. Hurry up." Draven had lost his patience now and was glad I was at her. With shaky hands, she took off the rest of her clothes and left us to the full view of her body. For a petite woman, she had a visibly good shape. Her blossoms were full and standing with two peach-colored nipples that invitingly stood on both. Her Honey colored hair settled around her waist and curved down to moderate-sized hips down to straight legs. Nothing we hadn't seen before, but she was visibly malnourished. I wondered why. Wasn't she an Alpha's daughter? How come she looked so weak? The discomfort and shame on her was visible but Draven wasn't finished with her. "Turn." Her eyes which had been closed the entire time she took her clothes off finally opened and settled on the ground. "I... Can't." "That wasn't a request but an order. Are you refuting it?" He asked coldly. Tears began rolling down her cheeks at the kennace in his voice. She looked like simple words could crush her, and what more having to defend herself in a fight. As someone who would beat our heir, she was at risk to our enemies, and we had many. She finally turned, very slowly, and It was when she did, did I realized why she had been so reluctant at first. "Take clothes and leave," I said immediately. Draven was tongue-tied. He couldn't even say anything as the girl picked up her clothes hurriedly. In seconds, she had bolted out the door and shit It leaving us alone. "Something tells me she was only acknowledged as an Alpha's daughter when It came to selling her off to us," I said, rapping my fingers against the table, brooding in anger. "You mean... Her own family did that to her?" Draven looked surprised, a grave expression on his face "I wouldn't be surprised. Did you notice how she was quick to correct me when I mistook Luna Ashena for her mother? It didn't seem like she had a good relationship with her." "It's no wonder she's so frail and weak" Dariussborted. These scars on her back were numerous; of different sizes. It was like they bore the haunting image of her past abuse. Lines of faded scars crisscrossed her flesh like a map of torment, each scar, a stark reminder of the cruelty she had ensured. 'Dante. Where are you?' Using my mind link, I contacted Dante, and in seconds, he was standing before us. I hand him the contract. "Dante, I need you to get every possible information you can get on Anastasia before the end of this week. We need to know how she had been treated back at Night Howler's pack. Ensure she signs this as well." "Noted. Is that all?" He asked as he took the documents. "That's all. You can leave." Once he left, my brothers and I exchanged knowing looks. Anastasia may seem ordinary, but there was certainly more than just the weak abused wolf who had been here not too long ago.Chapter 134 Epilogue “Draven!” Anastasia yelled as she began running after him. Draven continued running even further and faster not minding that Anastasia was running after him. “Draven, I said come back here now!” Anastasia shouted as she continued running after him. Draven continued running, looking back at her and giggling as he found his action funny. Anastasia finally caught up with him and hugged him close as she began tickling him. Draven began laughing so hard and kicking his feet in the sand. “Mum stop, please stop,” He said amidst his laughter and immediately Anastasia left him so she could scold him he ran off again. She just stood up from the squatting position she was in before and watched him run away yet again. They had both been in this running game for a while now and honestly, she was tired of running after him. She just watched him with a big smile on her face. She continued watching her son who was Draven’s lookalike. He had dark olive skin and silver h
Chapter 133 They both stood up then Draven listened to her command as he let her go. Queen Melina began laughing as she mocked, “Such sweet couples,” “What else do you want from me?! You abandoned me. Why come back to cause chaos?!” Anastasia yelled at her mum as she stomped her feet on the ground in anger demanding an answer. Queen Melina sneered at her daughter and shouted at her as her hands curved into fists, “You ungrateful witch! I have been protecting you and you claim I abandoned you?! Is that why you want to continue living among these wolves?!” “They are my mates! I am going to stay with them!” Anastasia shouted her words clearly and firmly. Draven looked at her with so much love after she made that bold statement to her mum. Queen Melina began to sob so suddenly as she began to speak softly and calmly, “I didn't mean to leave you, Anastasia. That was the only choice I had back then. The elders of your late Father would have killed me. I had to run away leaving you
Chapter 132 Draven appeared at Bethermore Mansion through the portal Darius had created earlier. He was outside the building and was about to run inside when a sudden force came throwing him at once. He landed on the wall of their fence and was so shocked as he tried to understand who had done that. Draven was surprised as he saw Hannah and Prince Anthony walking towards him. He stood up swiftly ready for their attack. Anthony suddenly used his magic to drag Draven towards him and made him immobile but Draven still tried to fight off the hold Anthony had on him even though it seemed to be draining him. He once again felt the way he had been when he had gotten kidnapped by the forbiddens. Hannah began laughing as she watched Draven struggle to free himself of Prince Anthony’s magical grip. “You all really should give up, Queen Melina is having a one-on-one talk with her long-lost daughter. Why would you want to intrude?” Prince Anthony asked in a mocking tone as he kicked Draven
Chapter 131 Hannah couldn't believe that Prince Anthony hadn't still let go of this notion of getting married to Anastasia. He hadn't been talking about her a lot like he used to, so she had thought his infatuation for her was dying slowly or had died completely. She then realized that he probably had been too occupied with the intense training that was why he hadn't been talking about her. Suddenly, while the warriors were still moving in sync, an arrow came out of nowhere and landed on one of their warrior’s chest, sending him down. Hannah gasped as that had broken through her thoughts and made her realize they were at war so she should keep such thoughts aside. They all froze for a minute and one of the warriors who was close to the one who got shot went to feel his pulse. “He's dead!” He announced and almost immediately more arrows plunged through the air landing on them and more warriors fell to the ground dead. Luna Ashena immediately screamed , “Attack! We can'
Chapter 130 “Finally, the day of our victory has arrived,” Hannah said aloud smiling as she began going around injecting the warriors with a special portion. It seemed like it caused pain because anyone who she injected seemed to fall to the ground writhing in pain for a while before getting his or herself back. Hannah smiled because that simply meant the portion was having its real effect on the warriors. Then she left it to the forbidden servants who she had been showing how to administer the injections. They all began doing it as they had watched her and she also gave directives to any of them who seemed to be lost or getting it wrong. Prince Anthony finally came to the clinic and Hannah upon seeing him carried a case of injections towards him. “Please have a seat,” Hannah said, smiling softly at Anthony. He nodded and did as she had instructed. “It’s going to sting and I can't promise that it will be little,” Hannah said as she prepared to inject the portion into him. Ant
Chapter 129 Alexa laughed and playfully pulled at Damien’s cheek. “You look so surprised Damien, I am your mate remember? Your very first mate. I know you and maybe even more than you know yourself,” Alexa said to him and Damien nodded as he honestly had to believe what she had just said. He had honestly thought he had hidden his worry over the Hannah issue away but now he just realized that Alexa had still noticed. No matter how hard he had tried to conceal it. She had still gotten a whiff of it. Damien went ahead to rest his head on Alexa’s chest as she tugged on him lightly He stayed there for a while listening to her heartbeat. Alexa inhaled deeply and exhaled softly then suddenly her body became tense and Damien raised his head at once looking at her in alarm. “What is it?” He asked suddenly, looking worried now. “I have gotten an idea, Damien,” Alexa said, still looking at the map and then at him as she smiled broadly. “What is that?* Damien asked curious. To hear what s
