I lay still, sore. That bastard. How could he be so heartless? I couldn’t feel my legs, I’m exhausted as hell. I couldn’t even move a muscle.

The soft mattress pressed into my spine like it was trying to etch something permanent into my skin. It's cold and felt unreal. My life dramatically changed within two days after the betrayal

My breath dragged in shallow gasps, and every inhale felt like a slap, the thing I treasured the most was stolen from me, against my will. Tears from my eyes.

The man hovered above me, his silhouette blocking out the light coming from the window, his chest rising evenly. He had no shame and remorse. He didn’t look at me like he’d done something wrong, because to him, he hadn’t.

In his world, he’d claimed me, owning me, he spent a fortune on me.He was a beast in a man’s body.

My wrists burned where he’d held me down. I didn’t need a mirror to know the bruises were already forming. I didn’t want to cry, not because it made me look weak, but because it wou

Raven's Point of View"Will you calm down now, Raven? Or do you want me to treat you like a little child?" He growled from the top of my head. “I don’t wanna be called an abuser, and people think I abuse a child.“You did literally! You force yourself on me.” I replied. He smirked. “There’s no such thing as ‘Force’, Raven. We’re wolves, and you are a breeder. All you have to do is spread your legs for me. Didn’t you know?”I didn't reply; instead, I answered him with a punch to the face. This time, he didn't block; my fist connected with his left cheek with a sharp crack of skin against skin. His head didn't snap back from my awesome punch like I had imagined. Instead, he stared back at me with a calm expression as if I didn't hit him just two seconds ago.He did it on purpose. He purposefully let me hit him so that I would know how useless it was. To let me know that, regardless of what I do, I would never be able to hurt him.Why didn't he just say something?I put all of the stre

  • Sold to the Beast   Chapter 18: Struggle

The way Keeran phrased his words made it sound as if we were going to go to bed...together.Which we are not and will not.Not if I can help it anyway, and we had separate rooms. "I-I can go myself," I stuttered, removing myself from his arms when he suddenly grabbed my wrist and dragged me back against him.As if he could tell that I was going to try to run again, Keeran suddenly bent down and looped his arm underneath my legs.I was easily lifted off the ground in a matter of seconds. My stomach churned, and I prayed that I didn't throw up again."I will take you," he stated before walking out of the room and taking a right instead of the left from where I had come. And I found myself gobsmacked in the face by reality."You're going in the wrong direction!" I cried, crumpling his shirt in my hands and tugging. As if he was going to turn back with my mediocre attempts."We will go to my room," he replied, steadily walking as if he didn't have me in his arms, almost as if I didn't we

  • Sold to the Beast   Chapter 17: Deal

Raven’s Point of ViewThe next ten minutes drawled by.I tried my best to eat but the awkwardness of the situation and Keeran’s steady gaze made it very difficult to continue the meal. The steak tasted good but the nervousness and anxiety wouldn't go away. How can anyone eat with someone staring them down, especially someone whom they don’t want to see? With a purse of my lips, I slowly laid the fork down onto the plate and watched as a frown made its way onto his lips."You need to eat more, Raven," he urged, although I felt some hidden emotion in his words that seemed more like an order than a suggestion. My eyes narrowed."I'm full," I stubbornly replied as if I wasn't talking down to the Alpha of this pack. You could say that my nerves were making me come off a little more arrogant and confident than I actually am. And perhaps, I may regret this when I wake up with an arm missing tomorrow."You will finish the rest of your meal," he stated calmly, jaw slightly gritted, probably fr

  • Sold to the Beast   Chapter 16: Pent up anger

I shakily managed to grab the fork before reaching for the knife with my right hand.It took everything I had to not look back up at him. There was this annoying feeling that gnawed at my conscience, telling me to look up, almost like an instinctive need that I refused to submit to, never. And I don't know if I was imagining it or not but I could feel his breath flutter the hair at the crown of my head. His every inhale and exhale brushed against my temple as if he was leaning downwards towards me, causing a shadow to cast on my face when he blocked the light with his body.It didn't look like he was going to move away anytime soon so I ended up obeying the call of impulse and tipped my head back.I originally wanted to glare at him but just seeing his face made me recoil into myself. All I really wanted to do was scratch his eyeballs out and flee like a frightened animal but that was not probable. From this angle, he looked much taller and scarier, yet I couldn't get myself to look

  • Sold to the Beast   Chapter 15: Dinner

Raven’s Point of ViewMy cheeks had long lost that slight blush from the shower and instead had gone even paler in comparison to the makeup I had applied onto my face.I know for certain that I don't want to see Keeran right now because Goddess knew what would happen if I did. He was a straight up monster after what he did to me For one, I am definitely not ready to face him after the humiliation, deducing me into a whore. What am I supposed to say to a male who deliberately abused me, making me like.some kind of whore? And now he's summoning me for dinner? Was he stupid to think I’l join him after what he did? I don't know how to react in such a situation."Let's go,” a woman who seemed to have a higher position and who entered my room urged me, after turning to me and noticing that I hadn't moved an inch."I-I can't," I dryly retorted, straightening my back and staring her in the eyes as my lungs heaved in panic."You can't?" she repeated, testing the words and possibly testing m

  • Sold to the Beast   Chapter 14: Force to submit

Keeran's Point of View"I want one," I told Jeric, a rogue bastard who sells good pills. He was one of those Rogues who retained his human mind and chose to leave his pack intact. I mean he is still human in he didn't become feral. He was the one who sold everything including pieces of information from other pack. Jeric looked at me. "What kind of pill?" "The one that ignites sexual desire."Jeric arched his eyebrow at me."Huh? You want that? Man, this is new. Women were flocking around you! Why would you need one?"I sighed."I recently bought a breeder. Unlike the other, she's not submissive."Jeric grinned and then laughed after."I can't believe this," he said holding his stomach while laughing. "You? The womanizer bastard having a hard time making his breeder submissive? How's that even possible?""Shut up Jeric, just give me a damn pills," I said, pissed. "Alright," he said before giving me one. "One pill at a time. Don't get used to it or your breeder might hate you," he a
