A TOUCH

Did you just say boyfriend? I asked her to be sure I heard correctly.

I took a glance at her and pushed her off and walked pass my way into the house.. so you have been cheating on me all these while right? Aren’t you ashamed of yourself.. I thought you were different but it turns out you’re just all them say “ I yelled at him and walked out of his house, not waiting to hear what he has to say. It’s not like anything good would ever come out from his mouth. I shouldn’t beg for love if he chooses to be with someone else so be it, I said to myself and went back home.

“Good afternoon “ I greeted Rico walking tiredly to my room. He sat on the chair curled up. I paused and looked closer to see why he was sited that way and didn’t respond to my greeting.

He laid on the bed shivering. I have never seen him this way before, I move closer to him touching his forehead to check his temperature.

“Geez” you’re running temperature, I told him .

I ran upstairs trying to locate where his room was but couldn’t find it . I ran back to my room carried a duvet to cover him up.

Seeing Rico look this way scared me , he looks so calm and soft curled up on the bed.. I ran back into the kitchen to get water and napkin to calm the fever down. After giving him so medications , he slept off like a baby.i sat closely wondering what happened to him.he looked very much okay when I was leaving the house. So what went wrong??

I shrugged off and went to my room to get changed.

Food is ready I said tapping Rico by the shoulder. he hasn’t eaten since I came back and he drank medicine on an empty stomach which is bad for his health.i stood up yawning and walking sluggishly to the dining.. who would have thought Rico would be calm. For someone who gave me strict rules and regulations guiding my stay here, he would have passed out if I followed his rules and regulations.

We sat down in the dining munching on our food quietly..

“Thank you “ Rico said lowly 

I looked at him innocently pretending not to have heard what he said.

What did you say? I asked him

He looked at me weirdly and said I know you heard me but because you helped me out I will repeat myself again. 

“ I said I am thank you for helping me out but that doesn’t mean you’re permitted to touch me anyhow, he said and continued eating his food. I smiled at him and continued eating my food . It feels good to be here without any form of awkwardness and probably not any harsh attitude from Rico ..

Where did you go? Rico asked me 

I looked at him gulping down the food in my mouth..I went to see a friend I replied him.

“Who” 

“What friend”

Your boyfriend you mean? He asked looking me directly in the eye.i forced a glass of water trying to avoid the question.

I know you went to meet your stupid boyfriend, so don’t act like I don’t know what I am saying.

He is not my boyfriend, ex boyfriend actually.

Rico burst out laughing.. you got cheated on ,he said in a mockery tone.

You men are just scum going around sleeping with anything under skirt. I said hitting the table unconsciously. I realized myself and went out of the dining holding my plate in my hands. We both finished eating and went to our various rooms.

Few moments later Rico walked into my room putting on boxers.. I used my hands to cover my eyes..

Sir.... uhm ... you’re not putting anything on. I said still covering my eyes. 

Like I don’t know , he replied lying on my bed. I am bored , I need company and I am sick and need someone to take care of me. He said adjusting himself. 

Put those hands down and stop acting like you haven’t seen a man naked before” Rico said dragging my hands from my eyes.my cheek where completely red from embarrassment. Seems like sickness changes people, because how the hell is Rico touching me this way without acting up.he drew me closer to him placing his hands around my waist and my head on his chest. Adrenaline rushed down my body. What the hell is this man up to “ I thought.

The movement of his heartbeat sounded like music to my ears , causing increase in my heartbeat.

I wasn’t sure of what Rico was up to , neither do I know why he is acting this way but one thing is for sure I don’t want this to stop anytime soon. Right now everything feels magical.

I let him do whatever he pleases as long as he isn’t hurting me .. he raised the top I was putting on caressing my bare back..

He gradually pulled off my top completely leaving me with shorts on. He placed his hands on my breast fondling them carefully.. chills ran down my spine. He pulled me up like I weighed nothing.

In as much as this feels wrong, I couldn’t stop him..There was something about his touch that felt magical.. I have never felt this way with Josh. He went further to kiss my earlobe nibbling on them.. 

“Rico” i moaned out loudly 

He placed his hands On my butt and was about to pull my short when I held his hands, stopping him from going further..

I came back to my senses.  This is who Rico is, he sleeps with different ladies without considering their feelings I don’t want to be one of his victims.

Please let’s not take this further, I said lowly.

He nodded his head and went out of my room without saying a word.

I started feeling guilty.

Maybe I should have allowed him...

But he asked me not to touch him, so why is he breaking the rules himself
