RYLANI had been doing everything in my power to avoid facing Elena alone. The alternative was too fucking difficult. RYLAN"And you came up with this? Is this what I give you a salary for, to come up with this kind of trash?" I slammed the file on my desk. "Sorry Sir." RYLANI got into my car and followed Elena's car all the way to the apartment. She had gone up the elevator and I had taken the stairs. Fuck waiting. "Elena stop!" RYLANAs I kept playing with Elena's hair , she slept peacefully with her lips parted. I wanted to trust her with everything I had, to be with her and maybe someday be able to say those words back to her. ELENA"Damn girl! You killed it up there!" Skyler screeched as soon as I came down the stage. I swear this girl was always excited. "Eh.. Thank you?" They all chuckled at my response. What can I say ? I gulped it down and scrunched my nose at the burning sensation in my throat. We got another round and I could slowly feel the buzz . Brent, Skyler and Hannah got up to get to the dance floor.
