Eirny POV :

“What's your name sweety?” The school attendant asked. I looked at my mother and then back up at her.

“Eirny.” It's my first year ever going to school. After a lot of begging and pleading my mother finally gave in and allowed me too. My mother doesn’t like me being surrounded by a whole lot of people. I could barely even go outside, but everything is different now. I’m 16.

“Alright, here is your schedule. You are to start school tomorrow. Oh, and we added an extra class after school to get you caught up with the education you fell behind in. Just to help you get caught up with the rest of us.” She spoke grayly.

“She should be all caught up, I have taught her well.” My mother spoke back. “I am sure you have, but this school is 5 months ahead of everyone in the state Ma’am.”

My mother signed, leading me to the door, “she will be here first thing in the morning.”

In the car ride home it wasn’t the best. It was silent as the night. I could tell my mother will throw a cow when we get home and nag on and on about how: I taught you by myself, to the point you were ahead. How in god heavens are you not ahead like the rest?. When it came to my mother and arguments. She always won. She always had to be right, she thinks she is never wrong. I laugh at times when people correct her, but I will never hear the end of it when we get home. It would be all she would ever talk about for weeks on end.

“I don’t even see a point in you going to school; Eirny, you just always have to get your way.” Mother complained. “Mother, I am 16, I think it’s about time I start going to school make some friends. So, would you please just drive and shut up for once?” Something came over me, I have never used my fiery temper with her before. “You think you can talk to me like that? You’re grounded,” I laughed, “from what? My bed? If you take away my bed you could get me taken away.” I could feel her speeding up, “No, but I can take away your door. I’ll have your father rip it apart when we get home.” After that last sentence it was dead silent once again.

Askar POV:

“Son, I don’t think you should go to school, you are very different from the rest.” I know he’s trying to protect me, but this is what I want. I want to start making friends and do something with my boring life. “Dad, this is what I have always wanted. Go to school, like all the other kids my age. People will start questioning us.” I responded with a slight temper. “But you aren’t a kid, you're not even human. They will start questioning you once they see your skin shine in the sunlight.” He was starting to piss me off the more the words came out of his mouth. “That’s why we live in a small village, it's always gloomy, wet, plus all the trees hide the light that shows, it's perfect. Plus the school I want to go to is hidden in the woods, making it even more perfect.”

He signed aloud, shoving his face in the wrinkled newspapers. “Fine, but if I find out someone realizes you are not like the rest of them. We are moving. Not just anywhere. We are moving to a place where there are no humans around us, just the 2 of us. Like how I wanted it to be when we moved here, but of course you want to be mature and get responsibilities.” I let out a little chuckle, “Was that supposed to be an insult? I mean other parents would die for their kids to want to go to school.” Looking him up and down. Trying to ignore his tempered thoughts.

He folded the papers up, sitting it on his lap. Taking in a big gulp of burning hot black coffee, “you will die if they find out the truth about us.” Awkward silence filled the humid air. “Well that won’t happen. Dad.” I grabbed my plate from the dinner table and headed up the stairs. Why does he have to be so selfish? I questioned myself, looking out into the starry night.

Eirny POV:

Looking around the crowded stinky people surrounding me made me so confused on why my mom was so worried about me coming to the school. Snotty kids is the only thing on my top worried list. Tying with that trying to find the main office. I mean why is it called the main office, is there two offices? Why would a school need two offices? Isn’t one quite enough for this small village school?

~crash~

“Hey, don’t just stand in the middle of the hallway you bitch, people are trying to walk, you know?” A deep voice spoke from behind me. “Well hello to you too.” All he replied with was a grimace look on his face. “Maybe you should pay attention to where you are going for someone who has been here for some time.” I remarked. “Actually, today is my first day. Not just here, but at an actual school. My dad is too paranoid to let me into the big village life.” He spoke with anger under his tone.

“Well I also am new too, and new to going to an actual school also. My mother is also paranoid.” I remarked back at him with sass. A slight smile appeared on the corner of his mouth, but fastly disappeared when he saw all his papers on the ground. “We have a lot in common, I can tell. Maybe getting to know me first before treating me like some wild animal. Here let me help.”- “no, no I got it.” He snapped.

“Too late.” I picked up all the papers before he could even touch one. “You're fast. So am I, I guess we do have a lot in common after all.” I looked at him starring into his orange brownish eyes. “Not quite literally, I’m sure I am stronger than you.” He laughed in my face, “a walking spaghetti noodle like you. Please, I’m like a wild beast compared to your invisible muscles.” He was getting on my damn nerves. “Don’t judge a book by its cover. Eirny.” I pulled out my hand from under my books to shake his. “Askar.” But all he did was leave my hand hanging. What a dick. “Asshole who can’t see.” I yelled after him, “more like a bitch who can’t walk.” My face started turning red from my temper. “More of an asswipe who is a cunt and isn’t a gentleman like the rest of these skanky people here. You are worse, you’re a scumbag.” He waved me goodbye, turning into a room with two glass doors.

Askar POV:

“Hello, you must be?” Silence came between us. “Askar. The name is Askar.” I answered. “Good, good. You are late. But that’s okay, the other person coming is late as well. You are lucky.” I signed. “So you're telling me I came in late just to wait on someone who is too late for their own good? Great, just great.” I sat down on the stool by the island table. A rush of wind bursted into the room, I turned around, only to see the bitch that doesn’t know how to walk. Her hair flying over her face, getting stuck between her heart shaped lips. “Am I late? Oh God I am late. I’m so dearly sorry…” she cut herself mid sentence. “You, you are the little ass dick who rammed into me in the hallway. Causing me to be late.” She complained.

“Look who's talking, you are the toddler that was standing in the middle of the hallway looking like a lost little puppy. Finally find your way back home little one. Finally found your mommy?” Her face became redder than what it was in the hallway, but as soon as she looked at the student body, her face became a soft pink. As if she was blushing. “Sorry for my language. Let me introduce myself…” The young man cut her off mid sentence. “I know who you are, doll. Your Eirny. I’ve heard so much about you.” She put out her hand, and he took it without any hesitation. “You are one fine gentleman.” She flirted. “Get a room,” I interrupted before I vomited.

“Doesn’t seem like you two like each other.” - “No.” We both spoke at the same time and in the same tone. He smiled, “well what is there not to like about Eirny?” He asked. “Everything, her mouth, her words, her hair, her face, her presence.” I rolled my eyes, “are we going to get this tour done and over with, so I don’t have to be stuck with him any longer.” She asked, blinking her long lashes right at him. “Stick with me, you mean so I don’t have to stick with you?” I crossed my arms. “Okay, okay let's get on the roll then. I’m Dane.”

Eirny POV:

As I entered my first period class finding a seat all the way in the back. There was an opened seat by the window. That would be the perfect seat for me to sit in. Plus no eyes would be on me, my eyes would be on everyone else though. But within a flash, someone cut in front of me and took it. "Hey, I was going to sit there." I yelled. Getting more frustrated with everyone in this school. Where are all their manners? “Your name isn't on it? You weren't sitting here." The man spoke, his voice sounded familiar. I coughed, "But I was clearly trying to sit there." He turned his head, and of course it was Askar. The more he's around me, the more I get annoyed. "I wasn't paying attention, I was looking at the seat." He turned his head as he spoke with attitude and looked at me straight in the eyes. "Because you have trouble paying attention to what is around you, that's why you run into people." He chuckled, "and you don't know how to walk. That's why I got to the seat first. Here sit next to me, since you really want this seat. Maybe tomorrow you will know how to walk, and you will get to sit here before me." He pulled the chair out next to him. "As if I would want to be anywhere near you." I remarked. But I really wanted to sit by the window. I took the seat that was in front of him. "I thought you didn't want to be anywhere near me?" He teased, "no I don't but I really need to be by the window." I replied. Grabbing out my notes. Being by the widow made me feel like it was charging me up. It makes me feel energized. Like the sun is giving me energy.

In the middle of class Dane came in, sweat dripping down from his locks. When he spoke to explain himself, he was out of breath. He was so hot. I could feel something dripping out my pussy into my underwear. He looked around and spotted me. "Hey, Eirny." He waved to me proudly, ignoring Askar who was right behind me. "Can I sit next to you?" He asked. "Yes, why would I not want to be around you?" Looking back, Askar's face was red. Why? He chuckled, "good because I'd like to be around you more." I blushed. I turned my body to face him completely. Trying to get to know him as much as possible.

Askar POV:

It pissed me off how she told me she didn't want to be anywhere near me, but is willingly wanting to be all around Dane. They both piss me off. It's not that I want to be around her. I don't. Being near her hurts my vampire brain. Dane. Ugh why would she go for a guy like that. He's probably the school's player. Just wanting to get in her pants. It pissed me off how she is willingly able to fall for it so fast. He ain't even all that. His thoughts make me clench my fists. Proving my point once more. But for some fucking reason when I try to read Eirny’s thoughts all I see is blackness and hear absolutely nothing. Only makes me despise her more than I already do.

So far half my classes were with Eirny and Dane. Its torture. Complete torture. Watching the two of them flirt makes my throat burn the way being around a mountain lion. I changed into my gym shorts. Gogging onto the gym floor. The burning in my throat keeps tightening up.

I start doing laps taking off my shirt and showing my sweaty abs. My heart paces, and the burning cools down. Am I weird for being a vampire but not getting cravings for humans but animals? It's probably because my mother was a human. Why would my dad put my mom in such horrid pain? I get dating a human, but fucking her and giving her a half human half vampire child for her to birth knowing the risk. The 96% risk? It was my fault she died. No, not my fault. My fucking dad's fault. He is a murderer. A killer. He killed my mother. I start to run faster and faster, but keeping a human pace as I run. "UGHHH" I yelled. smacking into the wall in front of me. I fell to my knees as more screams escaped my mouth. I heard footsteps coming from behind me, but I couldn't handle the pain I'd bundled up inside. "Askar?" Eirny's hurt voice spoke. "Askar." she hollered, jogging towards me. She slid on her knees to me. "Let it out. Scream." She spoke softly. I screamed. "Louder." She spoke. I could hear her lips part, as she opened her mouth and screamed her pain as well. “You didn’t have to do this.” I told her. “I needed to let some steam out as well. Besides, doing it alone isn’t as fun.”

“I don’t need your pity.” I snarled at her. I got up and dusted off my knees. Continuing my pace I once had. I could feel her stare, why would someone like that need to scream her pain out? The question ate at me throughout the whole period. She was trying her best to stay away from me. She sure in the hell did. I wanted to find out what her pain was. She sounded as though she was in a lot more pain than me. Why would a girl like that be in so much pain? It’s not my problem. I fucking hate her. I can’t even see the kind of person she is. I don’t want her anywhere near me. She could be dangerous since I know for she I could never ever trust her. Ever.

Eirny POV:

"May I walk you home, you fine lady." Dane said, catching up to me. "Sure, why not." I could feel someone walking behind me, but I just ignored it. "How was your first day at school?" Dane asked, looking at the side of my face. "It was stressful, that bore Askar sure knows how to piss someone off. I mean I screamed with the man. He sure does have a lot of problems that need to be fixed." I spoke. I started feeling rocks hitting my back, "Askar. Are you seriously stepping out of your way and following me home?" I hollered at him, picking up stones and tossing them in his direction. "I am actually walking home, for your information." Askar stuttered, he sure did not know how to talk with stones hitting him, it was funny. "Well this is my road, I'll catch you later?" Daned asked, "yeah will do." I started heading up to my driveway, and turned to see Askar going into the house right next to mine. "Wow, what a conviecence." I spoke. slamming my door behind me. Why does this have to happen to me? I don't get it. Why the house right next to me? I sat at my desk, looking into the house beside ours. "No. NO." I yelled. His bedroom window is looking straight into my room. "Ew he must be a stalker." I closed my curtains, running to my bed under my covers.

"You better be getting that work done that is causing you to be behind." My mother hollered from the bottom step. "It's already done, I got it done during classes, and didn't eat lunch." I yelled back. throwing the blankets over my head.

~ring, ring, ring~

"ughhh, what now?" I muttered under my breath.

Me~ Hello? Who is this?

I spoke through the phone

Dane~ It's Dane, The student body. The tour man. I wanted to see how things were, you all caught up?

He spoke greyly.

Me~ Uh yeah, I got it all done in school.

Dane~ Wait seriously? That’s fucking impressive. 5 months of school work, done within one day, and not only that, the schoolwork we were all working on in class? You go girl, maybe you should be a student body. Because I surely could never.

Me~ I'm good, I am just there for an education and to meet people. Plus it really pisses off my mother.

Dane~ Wanna hangout sometime? I really liked getting to know you. I wanna get to know you even more!

Me~ I don't know, we will see when it gets there. My mother is the pain in the ass.

~click~

I would love to hangout with him, but my mother will never allow it. I started having this sinking feeling after the call. I don’t know this feeling that I have towards Dane. I don’t really know feelings at all. Maybe I like him?

"Eirny, the neighbor kid wants to see you." My mother hollered. "I'm not here." I yelled. "Too late." He spoke through the door. "How in the world did you get my mother to allow you to come in?” I asked him with confusion. "She knows my dad." He said. "Don't look at me like that." He sternly demanded, entering my room, and shutting the door behind him, "like what" I asked him. "Like you have no clue what I am talking about all the time, I was surprised too, y'know." I tapped my mattress, the spot next to me. "Now let's get this project done, so I don't have to breathe your diseased air."

"No, It's 1987 not 1997 you fucking dipshit.” I said loudly, getting annoyed. I knew it wasn't going to workout when they paired us together. "Are you stupid? It's 1997." He raised his voice. "I'm not stupid, I got all caught up within a day, 5 months of being behind done within one day, while also doing today's work." He looked puzzled.

"Okay and? I got it done the day I came in to get into this school." Yeah so, we are both smart. "Well, let's see what g****e has to say." I sat at my desk and opened up my laptop. "Well, would you look at that? 1987." I smirked, "No way." He got up within a flash. "Guess I'm just smart." I remarked. "Uh no. I just made a mistake." He said softly. "Sorry for calling you stupid. I guess I'm the stupid one." He looked unsettled, set off. Something was eating at him, I wanted to know, but It doesn't matter. "You're not stupid. Nor am I am stupid. You made a little mistake, I do it sometimes too. But that doesn't mean we are stupid. That just means that I’m smarter than you, you fucking prick.” I say as I lower my tone. "Yeah." He sat back down on the bed and scratched his head. "I still despise you." He whispered. I chuckled. "Me too, me too."

"Einry Renee Lee," My mother yelled barging into my room, pulling Danes ear in after her. "Mother?" I yelled, trying to break up the grasp on Danes' ear. "Can you explain to me what Dane is doing here, trying to see you?" I stood frozen. "I don't know, I told him we will see when it gets there. I never said that now." I replied, "I should go." Askar said, trying to get up. "No." my mother impulsively yelled, pushing him back on the desk. "Mother, please, he's a friend." I tugged on her arm, as she lets go, she grabs hold of me. "You are not supposed to be bringing people into the house, you know how I am with you and people. No association with people." She dragged Dane back down the stairs. "We will talk more about it later." She hollered.

"Well damn." All the words Askar was able to form out of his circular lips. "I was not expecting to see Dane at all today. And she yells and punishes me over something I have no control over. I am so tired." I explained to him. "I get it, my dad is the same way. You will learn to get used to it." He replied.

Askar's POV:

Her face was in shock but her mouth wasn’t. She started to get comfortable talking about her mother. I mean, don’t get me wrong I hate her, she makes me feel weird inside, but I’m kinda glad that she is comfortable with me. I get to know how my dad treats me, I’m not alone. Someone else is going through the same shit as I am. The way her pupils grow as she talks to me about her mother, it’s adorable. The way her mouth forms to speak another word, is adorable as well. "I'm sorry for putting all my life problems onto you." She spoke greyly. "Don't apologize, my father is the same way, I'm just glad that I am not alone." I responded back.

"So what's the deal with you and Dane?" I asked. As I spoke Dane's name, blush formed across her cheeks. "I don't know, I mean I like him, I really do. He's the sweetest." Something sharp jammed into my chest. "I know people and how they are when I look at them, and trust me, Dane isn't the guy for you. He's just using you to get whatever he wants from you, and when he does get it, he will leave. There's something so awful about that man, I can feel it in my bones." I explained to her. But I could tell her temper was starting to flare.

"Are you being serious right now?" She asked me. "I'm being as serious as I can be." I spoke, giving her a stern look. "Dane is a good man, he is nicer to me than you are to me." Her face started to turn red once again, "I'm mean to you because I don't like you. Trust me when I say this, Dane is only nice to you, because you have something he wants, or he is planning on shattering your heart." I tried to say it in the nicest way possible, but it came out in the worst way I could ever worded it. "Get out." She said softly. "What?" I asked, not really hearing exactly what she's trying to say. "Get out." She spoke more sternly. "Are you being serious?" I asked her, sitting up straighter. "I’m being as serious as I can be,” she spoke, using my own words against me. “Okay.” I responded blandly, standing up, and gathering my books. “But when he shatters your heart, don’t say I didn’t warn you.”

Golden hour:

“It’s about time you got out of the house.” My uncle states, as I help set the table. “Dad doesn’t like the idea of me being out.” I replied, “Dad is just trying to protect you. Are you alright? You aren’t talking as much.” He questioned me, looking concerned. “Yeah, just someone being stubborn. They don’t see how I see the person they are talking to. I don’t want them to get hurt.” I placed the salad in the middle of the table, placing the wine bottle next to it. “Do you like them?” I froze up in anger, “no, I hate them. I want to vomit so bad when I’m near them like how I am with human blood.” I said dryly. Shaking my head in annoyance.“It kinda seems like you do. But, you gotta realize that sometimes people need to see it themselves, then they will eventually learn from it.” I sat there in silence waiting for my dad to place the raw meat on my plate. I was starving. All I could think about was raw meat from animals. Laughter filled the humid air as my uncle and dad drank blood out of the blood bags from the hospital. “You could have just drunk the rest of the beer that night. It wouldn’t have changed a thing. That’s what I would have done.” My uncle spoke aloud. The smell of the human blood lingering off their lips had my stomach ache in pain, the smell was awful. I got up quickly pushing my chair in and rushed out the door. Half way down the road I make a sharp stop, putting my hands on my knees, out of breath. The smell of moist trees and grass, and the rain that had recently poured down, it was a smell I loved the most. I still didn’t get why she had a thing for Dane. I don’t see how she doesn’t see the true him. It pissed me off, it was annoying me with how stupid her brain works.

“On a late night stroll?” Dane yelled from the stop sign a couple feet ahead. “Yeah so? Don’t you have to be inside a girl somewhere?” I hollered over to him. “I would be, but the girl I want has a bitchy mother. More so a cock blocker.” He laughed. He approached me and tapped my back, “it sucks that your lungs aren't as good as mine.” The sound of his voice irritated me, I wanted to rip him into shreds right here, right now. “Yeah but you aren’t as fast as me, and never will be.” He looked confused, “how can you be a fast runner if your lungs are shit?” He asked, tilting his head, waiting for my response. “Just because I stopped for a second to catch my breath, doesn’t mean I have shitty lungs.”

“Ugh it’s you Askar.” Eirny states as she walks up beside Dane. “What are you doing out this late, your mother is going to kill you.” I raised my voice sternly.

“Stop acting like you have control over what I do and where I go. Stop acting like you know me when in fact you don’t.” She demanded, her temper speaking loud in her tone. The wind brushed her hair into her face. Dane, without any hesitation, brushes his hand on her cheek, and places the strand of hair behind her ear. She blushed; “The wind is so lovely at night.” She smiled at Dane, ignoring me. “I hope I didn’t interrupt anything.” Her eyes went straight to her feet, as those words formed from her lips. “Just interrupted Dane saying how your mom is a cock blocker from allowing him to be inside you right now.” Her face became red all over very quickly. “What the hell Askar. Don’t say things like that you nasty Douchebag.” She yelled. Grabbing Danes hand, pulling him as she walked in the other direction, while giving me the middle finger. “Don’t fuck her too hard Dane, she might break.” I yelled after them, walking in the direction of my house.

Eirny’s POV:

“No, I have had enough of your shenanigans, I’m tired of you thinking you can do whatever you want whenever you want. You can’t just walk out of this house because you can’t control your anger. Especially when I didn’t say you could. And what were you thinking? Answering that call, replying like that to Dane? I don’t want you to be anywhere near him unless at school.” My mother scolded me. “Mother Dane is my friend, I should be able to see him, I don’t see the big deal of me making friends.” I pleaded to her. “Well he’s a boy, I don’t want you to have any boyfriends or boy friends.” She responded, with more anger in her tone. “But you let me hang out with Askar.”

“That’s different, I know Askar and his dad. I know how good of a boy he is.” She smiled thinking about it. “Please mom, please invite him over for dinner, to get to know him, please. I think I really like him, mother.” I begged. “Only on one condition.” My mom stated. “Anything.” - “Askar is to be at the dinner as well, and if you want to hang out with this so-called Dane. Askar will be your supervisor. I’m okay with it, only on that condition.” She put her dinner plate in the dishwasher, turning to see my response. Of course, the only time I will be able to see Dane is if the person I despise most in this awful world is going to be there. “Fine.” I said, annoyed. “Don’t just stand there, you have to ask Askar if he’s alright with it, if not, you are not to see him outside of school. I shall never meet him.” She walked out of the kitchen into the sitting area.

Pulling out my cell phone, I dialed Danes' number. After the phone rings a few times, he finally picks up the phone.

Me~ So… I asked my mom if she could have you over for dinner, and if we can hangout outside of school, she said yes.

I said, hinting there’s more to it than that.

Dane~ But?

He questions.

Me~ only on one condition… Askar is to be at the dinner, and anytime we want to hang out. He has to supervise us. And I have to go over right now and ask if he’s okay with it, and if he’s not. We are prohibited to see each other outside of school and she shall never meet you.

Dane~ Askar will never agree to that, you should know that. Is there any other condition?

Me~ Sadly it’s the only condition she will give. I have no clue why though. I’m sorry.

Dane~ It’s alright. Just go over there and try to convince him, please. I want to hangout!

Me~ I can try, but I can’t promise you anything. See ya.

Dane~ Alright, alright, see ya.

The phone hung up and it continued to ring this buzzing noise. I walked out the kitchen door, and knocked on his kitchen door soon after.

A tall man opened the door, his face tilted up in the air, smelling the wind that brushed into his face as he opened the door. “And who must you be?” The man asked. “I-I well I’m looking for Askar, I need to talk to him about something important. I’m his partner on a project at school.” I answered nervously, not expecting an adult to open the door. “I'm Askar's dad, Ronald. Come on in, his room is just upstairs.” I smiled. “I know, my room is across from his. I’m your neighbor.” He froze, and the door shut on its own after I walked in. “Oh, hi Eirny, I didn’t even notice it was you, you have grown up so much, you are welcome here anytime!” He smiled happily. “Would you like anything?” He questions me. “No, no! I just need to speak to Askar then I will be out of your hair!” I smiled back at him. “Oh trust me dear, you are not in our hair.” I marched my way towards the stairs. “Yeah, but I’m most certainly in Askars hair.” I mumbled under my breath. “Did you say something?” He hollered after me. “No, no. I didn’t.”

I knocked on his door, but there was no answer. I cracked the door open, and knocked once more. But he was dead into his headphones that were blaring music into his ears to be able to hear my knocks. I walked in, closing the door after me, and tapping his shoulder to get his attention.

He flinched, taking his headphones off quickly, and looking back at me. “Holy shit, you fucking scared the life out of me, you can’t just appoarch me like that.” He yelled.

“I’m sorry, I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to scare you.” I stood there, with my hands crossed under my breasts. “What are you doing here anyways? Don’t you need to be having Dane inside you right now.” He asked. “Can’t you just stop with that already, you are starting to piss me off, talking like that about him, especially in front of me. I just came to ask a favor of you my mom requested.”

“What’s that?” He questions me. “My mom said the only way I could hang out with Dane is if you were there to supervise, and he’s going to be coming to dinner tomorrow and my mom would like you to be there.” I spoke nervously about what he would say next. “No.” Was all he could say. “Of course that’s your response, I don’t even know why I bothered to ask.” My face became pale, and my heart sank to my chest. Of course he wouldn’t agree. He looked me in my eyes. And I turn for the door. “Wait…” he started to say. “Yeah?” I asked, what more does he want to speak? How It's stupid of me to even bother with that offer? “I‘ll do it.” He said plainly. Looking back onto his bed. “Wait, really?! Are you serious?!” I asked, my heart lighting up with joy. “Why not, with me being there he won’t be able to take advantage of you.” He smiled as he looked at me. “Why does it matter to you if he did? You despise me.” I asked. “Just because I despise you, doesn’t give me the right to let a man take advantage of you, no man should ever take advantage of a girl, I wouldn’t wish that upon anyone.” He replied seriously. “Thank you Askar, this means a lot. Do you really think that’s what his intentions are?” He looked me in the eyes, sitting up straighter. “Yes, and will completely break your heart, especially when he does.” I smiled at him. “How could he, when you will be there to stop him.” I responded before leaving his room.

Askars POV:

As I walked through the halls to get to the first period class her words kept repeating in my head; how would he, if you will be there to stop him. Does she really believe I can keep that from happening? That’s the last sentence I would have expected to come out of her mouth.

I entered the first period class and Eirny wasn’t here yet to claim her seat before me. But Dane was sitting right next to the seat. “Have a seat, we need to have a few words about this condition Eirnys mom made.” He demands, patting the seat by the window. “Sure, what’s up?” I asked. “Just because you will be there to supervise us, doesn’t mean for you to cock block me, I will fuck her one of these days. And when I do, it will be amazing for my buddys to hear.” He said. “Do you understand?” His voice was deep and demanding, but not enough to scare me. “Trust me. With me being around, you will not take advantage of her.” I scared him with those words. “Trust me, once I want something, someone, I will get whatever I want.” He looked at the door as Eirny entered the room, his mood completely changed to fake love for her. It made my bones shake with anger. Eirny rushed to her seat ignoring Dane, and putting her head down. She didn’t seem like her normal self. And Dane was getting pissed the more she ignored him.

I pulled Eirny off to the side in the halls. “What has gotten into you? Why the hell do you smell like weed?” I exploded with anger. “Dane and his friends thought it would be fun. I said no, but they insisted I try it.” I shook my head in anger. “So that’s why you ignored him?” I asked, concerned. “N-No. No.” she spoke softly. “E-Excuse me. I need to go home..” She started to walk off. “Wait, you can’t go home like this, you will get in so much trouble. How about we go somewhere?” I asked, but she turned and smiled, and walked away.

I didn’t see her in the next period. The way she was acting was worrying me.

As I was walking home, I got an unknown caller ID.

Unknown~ Askar, is that you?

The voice was the sound of a panicked woman.

Me~ Yes, who is this?

Betty~ Betty Lee, Eirny Renee Lee’s mother. She hasn’t gotten home. And her location is off on her phone. She’s not responding to me.

Her voice was so worrying, I could tell she was hurting.

Me~ I’m sorry, I have no clue where she’s at.

She hung up the phone, with not another word. I dialed Erinys phone, maybe she will answer me especially since I’m not her mother.

  • Something Immortal   Chapter 2: The Start Of A Heartbreak

Eirny’s POV: “Stop asking because I’m not going to tell you why. That’s between me and him, Askar.” My eyes were becoming blurry. I felt like I might get sick. How could he do something like this? Sleep with a girl in an empty classroom. I know we aren’t together, but his excuse was heart shattering. “Eirny, I may despise you, but I don’t like it when men take advantage of girls, nor hurt them. Tell me what he did. Now.” Askar demanded. I looked him deep into his eyes trying to form the words out of my mouth, but it made me want to puke each time I thought about it. Trying to speak it is a whole lot worse. “Well, I think it’s pretty obvious I like Dane and that he likes me.” I started to say. “Yeah, so?” I turn to the view in front of us, “I walked in on him fucking a girl in an empty classroom.” Even though that’s not the reason, I could never allow him to know what his excuse was. He would probably kill him if he did. “Is there more? I feel like you need to tell me something else.

Oh, and we added an extra class after school to get you caught up with the education you fell behind in. Just to help you get caught up with the rest of us.” She spoke grayly. “She should be all caught up, I have taught her well.” My mother spoke back. “I am sure you have, but this school is 5 months ahead of everyone in the state Ma’am.”My mother signed, leading me to the door, “she will be here first thing in the morning.” In the car ride home it wasn’t the best.
