Chapter 4

Nivea's POV:

We get to the bar and I get out of the car. immediately following me was my friend who was, lets admit it, acting like this was the day my life changes.

"Come on Ni!!" She squeals grabbing my arm dragging me towards the building. As we are now running inside she giggles with excitement and leads us towards the bar.

"I want a rum and coke please. " she said to the bartender then nudges me. "Tell him what you want. "

"Oh. I want a adios motherfucker please." He makes our drinks and hands them to us. I nod to him as a sign of thanks however before I can pull my cash out,

Abigail puts a 20 dollar bill on the counter and says

"Tonight is on me. " and grinned.

"If you say so. " I grin back.

After I got a couple sips down I caught wind of an intoxicating scent. I could smell cedarwood and pine. I look around but can't tell for sure where it's coming from.

"Do you smell that?" I lean in to Abigail and ask.

"if you mean sweat and alcohol the answer is yes. " she said and giggled.

"No the cedarwood and pine smell."

"No I don't. Follow the scent and then tell me what it was." at that time some guy walked up to Abigail and asked her to dance, of course she said yes.

I walk away shaking my head, trying to find where that scent is coming from.

I couldn't tell how long I was walking around but I lost track of it so I stepped outside. What I found out there was shocking on my part.

As I walked outside I saw a couple talking and sipping thier drinks, then I saw the most gorgeous man I've ever seen. He was sitting in a chair looking out at the street. He seemed to stiffen when I walked outside. I wonder if I scared him?

'get closer. ' cassi said.

Deciding against scathing him more than I have I went to walk back inside and Ran into someone and started to fall. waiting for the impact that never came.
