Keenan's POV:

We were almost done organizing everything when my mom mindlinked us.

'Something is off. Nivea left with Kevin to visit his pack. Something about a peace treaty.' Mom said in our heads. We looked at each other with wide eyes. I decided to mindlink Adam to see what was going on.

'Hey Adam, your mate just left with mine. Something about visiting his pack for a peace treaty.'

'Impossible. I left him at home. I asked if he wanted to come with but he Said no. I would've smelled him here. Let me see if he really was here. '

'Wait. YOU WEREN'T WITH THEM?!' I screamed in his head. Me and Conri were furious.

'I had to pee. I'm sorry. I just spoke with Luna Angela and she said it was him. I don't understand, I would have smelled him. He's my mate. I wasn't that far away from them. I swear Keenan!' He pleaded. I could feel the sincerety in his mindlink. I knew he was telling the truth.

"Lets go get the girls." My dad said. I nodded as we walked out of the office.
