Dead end

Axel woke up to a sudden strangeness, his body felt odd and his bed was cold. he couldn’t feel the warmth he was always used to for years, the woman who had always given him warmth smuggling and cuddling into his arms was gone,her scent was quite dim, he opened his eyes and indeed Claire was gone.

“Claire” he called, she couldn’t have gone out quite early in the morning,

“Raphael, have you seen Claire” he asked through the mind-link, perhaps she was in the kitchen preparing breakfast.

“No Alpha, I haven’t seen her” Raphael replied, 

Axel began panicking, he ordered that the pack be searched and yet there was no sight of her anywhere almost like she had disappeared into thin air, something seemed off to him when he got back to his chambers, her scent wasn’t anywhere in the castle except in his room which meant that she hadn’t left his room.
