Joe Bandit P.O.V
As soon as I found out about the rumors that were spreading, I was not mad about it. In fact, I was totally okay with it. That feeling changed when I realized how it might affect Chasity in a bad way. I was not blind to the attention I received from the girls at school, and I know how catty girls can be. So, I was absolutely sure that they would cause trouble for Chasity because of the jealousy they will feel.
When Chasity and I left the school, I did everything I could to try and put the smile back on Chasity’s face. We picked up some fast food to eat for lunch and decided where to go next. We ended up deciding to head on over to Chasity’s house, since her mom was not going to be at home all day, and we did not want to get caught for truancy.
“Thank you,” said Chasity, as we headed to her house.
“For wh
Joe Bandit P.O.VI gave the picture back to her, my hand burning from the picture, as if it is trying to get me to tell her the truth.“I am sure, he would be proud of who are you today,” I said to her, not being able to help myself. She gave me a soft smile and nodded, “I would like to hope so.”I then looked around, trying to think of another topic we could change it to, and noticed that in the collection of DVDs that were stacked in their entertainment; there were a lot of Adam Sandler movies in them. I stood up from the couch and walked to the stack, grabbing out a movie that was one of my favorites.“50 First Dates,” I read out loud, as I chuckled and thought about how much my family and I laughed when we watched this movie.
Joe Bandit P.O.VI looked at my father feeling uneasy and replied, “What do you mean when you say that there are some secrets that people will kill to keep a secret? Do you mean that he will go as far as to kill me because I know?”Fear started to fill me, but I pushed it down. I was not a coward and I refuse to let Chasity’s father make me into one.My father shook his head, and paced back and forth, “This man is evil son.” Then as if he was having a flashback of a bad memory, in a hateful tone he added, “He will do whatever he needs to, in order to bend others to his will.”I just watched my father, as he walked back and forth in the study. Running his hands through his hair, as if he was thinking of a solution to a problem.Knock!Knoc
Chasity Dawson P.O.V“What are you doing all alone?” asked my mother as she spotted me in the theater.I turned around to face her and stood up. Grabbing my backpack and putting the straps over my shoulder.“The boys went out for a run. Joe invited me, but I didn’t want to go with them,” I said with a shrug of my shoulders. “Are you done with work?” I asked her, as I turned off the projector playing the movie on the screen. She had her coat on and purse in her hand, like she always did when she was ready to leave. She nodded, and in a happy tone replied, “They let me go home early today.” She extended her hand toward me to take. I walked to her grabbing her hand and then linked my arms around hers, as we got out of the house. When we got into the car, I sent a quick text to Joe letting him know that I was leaving.CHASITY: My mom finished work early, so we are about to head home.JOE: I can take you home.I smiled at how sweet this moment felt. This made me feel like he wanted me to st
Chasity Dawson P.O.VI had so much fun with Joe tonight. We talked about almost everything at dinner and then ended up watching the new action movie that came out. It was really good and I had such a great time. I was super bummed that I had a curfew and I wish that we could have spent more time together. When we finally arrived at my house at the end of the night, a small part of me started to get sleepy.“Wait there,” said Joe, when we finally arrived at my house.“Okay,” I replied, nodding and unbuckling my seatbelt. I watched him get out from his seat to come to my side.He opened my door and lifted me up off my seat and onto the ground. When my feet touched the ground, he did not let me go, keeping his hands still on my waist.“Thank you,” I softly replied, not being able to remove my
Chasity Dawson P.O.VI was right. The days that followed soon after that week were pure hell. The horrible cliché drama of dating the popular guy in high school, was now being sent my way every single day. I wanted to break down and cry my eyes out at one point, but didn’t want to give the girls the satisfaction of seeing me in tears. On a really bad day, I cried my eyes out when I got home. Joe, my mother, Payton and Maddie did everything they could think of to cheer me up; even Joe’s friends, John and Gio joined in, which warmed my heart. There were girls at the school that were savage. One morning, someone put slime in my locker that blasted all over my clothes. The next day, someone took my clean clothes from my gym locker while I was in the shower at P.E. Luckily, I had Payton in the same class, and she gave me
Joe Bandit P.O.VI quickly pushed Jamie off of me, as if the touch of her burned my skin. Then my eyes quickly searched for Chasity’s face. I wasn’t a blind to the fact that her expression currently looked murderous. I am hoping that it is directed at Jamie, instead of me.The innocent victim kissed by another girl. Jamie looked startled by my reaction and pouted with disapproval. She and I have known each other since we were kids. Our parents went to the same college and every year my family and I would go on vacation with hers for spring break. I always had a great time with them, up until Jamie would try to start hitting on me.She just never understood the word no.Chasity has never met Jamie yet, due to the fact that Jamie went to an all-girls school in Europe and her family
Joe Bandit P.O.VAfter pushing away all insecurity and doubt from Chasity’s mind, I left her to go back to her friends, while I went to handle a situation, I sure hope will not make things worse.I already have enough trouble on my plate.I took a deep breath before heading to my mother’s room, where I know Jamie and she would be. Once reaching my mother’s bedroom door, I took a deep breath before going in. Opening the door without knocking, I see my mother embracing Jamie in a tight hug, saying soothing words to calm her down. Noticing my arrival, they pulled apart. My mother gave Jamie one last hug, and whispered something in her ear that only she could hear. Jamie nodded as my mother pulled away.Jamie looked down at the ground as I stepped closer towards the two of them.“Put her down gently,&rdquo
Joe P.O.V“When did she get here?” John asked in a casual voice as he picked up the football from the ground.“About thirty minutes ago,” I answered. Rubbing the bridge between my eyes, to calm the headache I felt approaching.“I sense that you are about to be in for some deep trouble my friend,” Gio added with a shake of his head.I scoffed, and rolling my eyes, I sighed, “Tell me something I don’t know.”“Where is she now?” John asked, peeking over my shoulder, assuming she was trailing after me, like she usually did. It’s when he does little things like that, I start to assume he has something for her.I pointed my thumb backwards, “In my mother’s room, gathering herself together.”
