Our date was by seven, so I returned home by six. I went upstairs, freshened up, and changed clothes.

Iris was stepping into the living room the same moment I was coming down the stairs.

We both stopped in our tracks, staring at each other.

Iris looked... Breathtaking.

She was wearing one of those mini sundresses that tied in front and made her legs look stunning. Her dark hair was left loose around her shoulders and little strappy heeled sandals adorned her feet.

"Iris..." My voice sounded a bit too breathless to belong to me. I cleared my throat. "You look beautiful."

She smiled. That soft, sweet smile that made her lips look pouty, and always tempted me, making me want to tilt her head up and kiss the living daylight out of her.

"You don't look too bad yourself," she commented with a small grin.

I stepped down the rest of the stairs and walked until I was right in front of her.
