Chapter 35 - won't leave without his wife

Sophia knew her brother’s weakness. If he got angry, he could get physical. He exercised a lot and was very strong. Tom was an action movie star but most of his stunts and fights were done by his stunt double.

Anderson would hurt him and she couldn’t allow it. “How can you even think that, it's just an accident.”

Anderson’s brows knitted. He removed the strands of hair covering her neck to have a clearer view. The more he removed, the greater the anger and darkness in his eyes. “What kind of accident Sophi? Are you covering up for him?”

Her excuse didn’t seem logical and making another one might just worsen the situation. “He didn't do it intentionally and he apologized.”

Anderson realized that she had put on heavy makeup. Sophia never used heavy makeup when she was single. “Love, please get me wipes from the washroom,” he requested from Avery but his gaze was stationed on Sophia.

Sophia’s heart tightened in her chest. “What do you want to do?” Fear flashed in her eyes when she asked
