Chapter 34 - Sophia's surprise.

“I’m sorry,” Anderson said apologetically but Avery ignored him, turned to the side, and got off the bed and to the closet. She wasn’t ready to wake up just yet because it was her resting time anyway. After two days, she would have to continue her internship and after that, the school would also resume.

Anderson thought of making it up to her later in the day. He put on his pajamas and went to the door. As soon as he opened it, he was welcomed with a beaming smile.

“There you are, kid brother.”

Anderson’s brows furrowed. Did Sophia come to ruin his day? He was greatly angered. “I’m not a kid, don't call me that,” he hissed in annoyance. Sophia had a way of making him upset. So much for big sisters.

Sophia’s smile refused to crack. She loved it when she broke her brother’s resolve. Men never liked to be called kid brothers, even when younger, and Anderson was no different.
