Chapter 95 – Unrelenting

‘Who is he?’ Anderson typed the question so fiercely on the phone as if it was in a fight with the image that was just sent to him.

‘Just a new student. Don’t worry. He only goes to her for lesson notes and tries to buy her lunch to make up for it but Avery never eats anything he buys for her,’ Rilit back. Anderson was relieved and texted back,

‘Thanks, but still, keep an eye on him.’

‘Sure thing,’ Riley sent back again, though she was so pained to be speaking for Avery. As much as she wanted to make Anderson feel that Avery was cheating on him, that wasn’t the truth and she knew that Anderson would still find out somehow so she’d rather say it before it was too late.

What she didn’t expect was for Anderson to send another response, ‘thanks.’ That one word spoke volumes because Anderson would usually not respond to her last messages or do so in a disgruntled way. This was the first time she gained a little respect from him and it was all because of Avery.
