Chapter 144: New uncle

When I woke up, the first thing I felt was my heavy body. This feeling is familiar and I don’t like it.

I touched my forehead but what I touched was a wet cloth and after I looked at it; it was a small white towel that was warm and wet.

“Good morning, Mira–Miracle?”

I got up without seeing Miracle next to me. I looked for her in the bathroom of this room, but he was not there either.

“Miracle?”

I felt nervous when I couldn’t even see Miracle’s shadow. It’s not Miracle’s habit to leave without me in a place she doesn’t know or not saying to me.

I hope I’m wrong in thinking that Alex plans to run away and take Miracle away from me.

I left the room and when I went down, I met someone. “Did you see Miracle?”

“Ys, ma’am, he is with Sir Alex—”

“Where are they?”

“In the kitchen, ma’am.”

I couldn’t thank the maid anymore, instead I ran to the kitchen.

When I saw Miracle, I breathed a sigh of relief.
