She stared, she blinked, she watched the white cell, she gulped but the rest of her body felt numb.
Anger, shock, denial, guilt, fear, she couldn't tell the extra emotion. Her chest was clenched, her stomach felt tighten, her head ached, her head felt explosive but her body felt numb, her ears were dead to the world, the only thing visible in her world was that pale white wall, she blinked suddenly feeling her mouth dry, she felt nausea and a hollow feeling in the stomach.
Suddenly, everything stopped making sense.
She lost her little one, her ball of light and it was all her fault, Mystique suddenly laughed out, catching her treating nurse off guard as she jerked a bit but then she was back to the way she was, unfeeling, without sensation and unmoving, just numb.
