Embezzled Funds
"Miss Becker is here!" Mr. Claymont guided Jessica into the conference room.
Inside the room were already several familiar faces. "Miss Becker, have you received 5 million yuan in your account?" The Head of Internal Audit questioned Jessica.
"Yes, I have, but I—" don't know how the money got into the account?
Did the company make a transfer error?
"You've admitted it. Miss Becker, what do you think you call this one of your actions? How shameless of you!" Mr. Claymont shouted angrily.
This seems to have taken a serious turn as the internal audit board stepped in.
"Miss Becker, I have received a report that you committed money laundering and you just admitted that you received the money." The head of the internal audit felt complicated as he looked at Jessica, there was disbelief in the corner of his eye.He thought someone working on the direct recommendation of the Weisberg family should be able to keep their bearings.
"I did receive the money, but I really don't know why they got there."

Proposal? Jessica didn't even know what kind of proposal Mr. Claymont was referring to.
"I heard the internal audit board called Jessica over. What is all this about?" Alicia appeared later with another assistant.
The internal audit had not summoned Alicia because they wanted to prosecute Jessica first.
"Miss Weisberg, when we were doing the audit process we found some funds that were embezzled into Miss Becker's account. She even used the Foundation's proposal to get the money."
"What are you guys talking about, Jessica can't possibly do something like that." Alicia stepped forward to defend Jessica..
"We also don't believe this is Miss Becker, but we have evidence that Miss Becker has embezzled funds under the guise of a mere program by the foundation." Mr. Claymont shifted the documents that he claimed were evidence of embezzlement of funds.
"Is it true?" Alicia take a look at one of them. That's a proposal from the Falcon Foundation. There's even a sign there. Alicia had approved the document herself.
"Isn't this the proposal I submitted two weeks ago?" Alicia sued Jessica for an explanation.
Jessica looked at the document. Shee remembered that it was a proposal that the chairman of the foundation had given her. Jessica had checked the document before she gave it to Alicia. There shouldn't be anything wrong with them.
Nowt on a page of the proposal appeared Jessica's account number as the recipient of the funds where should be the foundation's account number.
NO! No way, how the account number got there?
"Miss Becker, what other proper explanation for this case?"
Jessica's face wrinkled, not knowing what rebuttal to say anymore. There is documentary evidence and the money has entered her account.
"We can't let this be, Miss Weisberg. Even if the value of this money is not too big for us, Miss Becker's actions are still a crime. She has committed money laundering. She tricked you into signing the funding documents that the Fang Foundation was supposed to receive and transferred the money to her account.
"That woman is so ungrateful. She should be ashamed to show her face in front of you. How can she act like this after all the trust you put in her Miss Weisberg?"

How could Jessica dare to do such a despicable thing for just a certain amount of money? Even if Jessica was planning to trick Alicia, why would he only withdraw 5 million yuan?
