Lily:

I was not sure if I wanted to work any longer.. everything was going wrong.

My alarm did not ring out and my hair that was supposed to be kept neat under a bonnet looked like a bird cage. I was running late for my first day of work and somehow, i still could not find my dang phone.

I darted out of my room, my hands now filled with my essentials for the day since somehow, I still could not remember where I placed my purse.

" Fuck. Fuvk" I muttered underneath my breath as I dashed outside, waiting for my Uber.

" You seem to be stressed. Need a ride?" His voice called.

I could not lie, I had seen him pick up his keys and follow me out of the house, but somehow, I still wanted to think he was not talking to me.

But he was.

" No. I'm fine. I already ordered an Uber" I said, my sentences coming out in short lapses as I tried to catch my breath.
