11. The Date

The rainy season in Singapore starts in Nov. It could be annoying to walk outside such as rushing to the workplace, but when it rained during the weekends, seeing the rain drop on the window could be quite relaxing. That was what Vincent was doing on this Saturday afternoon, when it poured outside, the french windows allowed him to see the city in the rain, and the living room felt quiet and cozy.

When Melainy opened the door of her bedroom and walked out to get water, she saw Vincent lying on the coach and lost in thought. They had been living in the same apartment for quite a while, but Melainy still always got impressed with his almost perfect facial and body lines, and his good taste in clothes. Just like now, what a beautiful scene it is to see him relaxing on the coach with the dim light inside the room and the heavy rain outside. Melainy slowed down her motions, taking the water softly so that she would not break the scene.

“Oh, morning.” Vincent said, realizing Melainy was
