"I thought you don't want to join? What made you change your mind?" I ask Khai while we are currently walking to the school cafeteria. It surprised me that he joined soccer.

"What are you waiting for? Let's go inside." He says which makes me turn around to look at him.
My brows raised in bewildered. "What do you mean?" I ask.
"Let's join soccer together." His tone is flat.
I was surprised by what he told. "Are you not joking?" I ask, quickly wiping my tears. Damn! It's damn embarrassing.
He nods his head, "yeah. Not. Come on."
He walks over to the door and holds the knob. Before he opens the door, he looks at me. "What are you doing? Aren't you coming?"
"Are you really serious?" I really can't believe it.
