[5:40 PM]
My phone rings while I am on my way to the house. It was my mum who is calling. I just now left the airport.
“Hey, mum.” I beam as I picked up her call.
“Where are you now?” She asks from the other line.
Actually, mum should pick me up now but I don't want to bother her anymore. Besides I can still manage.
“I’m on my way there mum,” I say.
“What?” I knew it would shock her.
“Yeah, I already left the airport. Don’t bother anymore, mum. I’m on my way there. See you!” I say and before she could respond, I hang up the call.
I want to surprise them, especially Khai. He also doesn't know that I am already back. Well, I did not call him either.
