Adiyan's POV

Everything was blurry, every muscle in my body ached when I gained consciousness. Still lying on the floor of the hotel room where we were supposed to spend the night. A night which was supposed to be the most magical night of our lives turned into a frightening nightmare.

My lips seemed to be burning as the skin had been peeled off and the blood had coagulated on them. The scabs were forming as I tenderly touched them.

I tried sitting up but a throbbing pain began in my ribs and rippled through my body and I screamed out. Some of my ribs were definitely broken.

Karica's crying face flashed in my eyes and I clenched my jaw. Her screams and pleas to those bastards rang clearly in my head now as the haze was being slowly lifted. She pleaded for my life while offering herself up, I was sure I heard something along those lines.
