ALLESSANDRA
In our apartment, I was busy preparing for our breakfast in the kitchen. Bella was prepping to go to the hospital as she wants to be with her mom most of the time. I heard our doorbell ring and she was quick to open it. It was Gregg with those beautiful flowers again for the two of us. I could definitely say that flowers really have an immediate impact on happiness. It could lighten our mood from being anxious, depressed, or sad. We felt delighted by his wonderful gestures.
I offered him coffee and before I could give it to him, I accidentally splashed some on his shirt. “Damn it! I’m so sorry!” I apologized for my stupidity. I ran to the closet and offered him a bathrobe so that I could quickly wash and dry his shirt.
When I got back, I sighted and heard them discussing something about business. A lot of workloads had been added to their shoulders to carry on because of the fearful incident.
