I tried to talk her into studying but she had other plans. I was angry due to the fight I had with Darius. Everything was already tumbling down and my wolf kept growling in pain and jealousy. I wanted to beat the hell out of that asshole and make him confess the truth.

I had never seen Darius so invested in someone's wellbeing before and what made it more suspicious was the fact that Ari was involved. I followed her back into my room.

"You are still very sick and your leg is not fully healed. At least give yourself time to heal before doing anything else." I tried to talk to her as she limped across the room looking for her belongings.
