Julia screamed loudly, when she saw what was done to Diana, fear surging through every fiber of her being, one of the masked men pushed her because of her screaming, she staggered and fell, hitting her head on the street light pole, losing consciousness instantly.

Nick had driven past the Simpsons club when he heard Julia’s scream, he increased his speed, driving to the direction of her scream, his headlights showed Julia collapsing beside the street light, while a car zoomed off.

He quickly hit the brakes, and jumped out of the car pointing his gun at the vehicle that was already leaving his sight, he couldn’t even make out the plate number anymore.

Nick brushed his hand through his black hair, walking hastily towards Julia, he squatted and raised her head on his lap, tapping her cheek lightly.

“Julia, Julia,” Nick called, but there was no response, he felt her pulse, she was still alive. That was wen he realized the moist texture flowing at the back of her head.
