He was sitting right there, on her bed. A cold smile on his face. Diana heart raced, her hands left the door knob voluntarily, she couldn’t comprehend the situation she was in. How did he get into her locked room?

Gonzalez was still dressed in the same suit he wore the other night when he was flirting with her, that means he had been here waiting for her all night. For a man that doesn’t walk without guards, they might be anywhere around the house.

Diana took a deep breath and exhaled softly, she had to calm herself down.

“Nice room you’ve got here, miss Diana.” He spoke first, breaking the awkward silence that had been between them for almost a minute.

Gonzalez glanced around the room as if he had just entered it, then his gaze landed back on Diana’s face.

“Why are you so surprised, or should I say confused or maybe you’re afraid. If it’s the latter, I am definitely alone, no guards.” He uttered again, the cold smile glued to his face, and his grey eyes made it look more scary.
