"Why did you threaten her?!" I growled into my phone.

"It was simply a piece of advice." His mockingly calm tone irked me to no end.

"Stay away from my wife. I don't need any more drama in my life right now, Hex." I warned him.

He let out a dark chuckle. "Funny how the drama's just about to begin."

"What the fuck do you want?!" I yelled.

"Oh nothing. Just revenge," he hummed. "An eye for an eye." He ominously completed.

I shut my eyes, "Hex leave Hannah out of this, please." I couldn't believe I was pleading with this asshole.

"I'll do whatever I want." The line went dead after that.

I paced my home office in panic. "What do I do?" I groaned in frustration. I would lose it if anything happened to Hannah because of me. I would go crazy.

I called for more security around the house. I needed a personal bodyguard for her and I had to be around more often. I couldn't take any chances.

It was way past midnight, Hannah was fast asleep but I couldn't get any shut eye.
